“Wait a minute, who was in your room then?”…
“That would be me,” Spencer replies smugly from the entryway. How does he always pop up at the most inopportune times? It’s like he has some radar in his brain that tells him the best time and place where douchebaggery may occur, and he follows it religiously.”

“Readers have the right to say whatever the fuck they want about a book. Period. They have that right. If they hate the book because the MC says the word “delicious” and the reader believes it’s the Devil’s word and only evil people use it, they can shout from the rooftops “This book is shit and don’t read it” if they want. If they want to write a review entirely about how much they hate the cover, they can if they want. If they want to make their review all about how their dog Foot Foot especially loved to pee on that particular book, they can."

“We talked--recent history only--and Lucas relayed the story of how Francis came to be his roommate. "He showed up at the door one night, demanding to be let in. Napped on the sofa for an hour, then demanded to be let out. It turned into a nightly ritual, with him staying longer and longer, until at some point I realized he'd moved in. He's basically the most brazen squatter ever.”

No worries. I meant to text you last week to see how you were doing but crap sort of blew up in my life (nothing bad, just hectic family and husband's work stuff). I haven't been reading or reviewing for the past week, so I haven't kept up with anything on GR other than to set up one of my group's reads because it was time sensitive. If you ever need to talk, you have my number. :) I hope things are starting to even out for you.
Thanks for the drive by. :) It's been a crazy weekend. I'll probably message you sometime in the next couple of days just to chat, but I'm glad I have you and my GR friends around because it keeps me sane.
Hey Rebecca, thanks so much for the invite! You already know I'm a mad Binds (and Spencer) fan. Can't wait for more of your writing, and I look forward to chatting with you!!! :D
Miranda wrote: "*winks* Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for being a friend + for the nice chat we had today (not to mention for your book but we dont want to talk about that, do we? :P).
Nice to meet you :)"
Hey Miranda, thank you for the friend request and thank you also for not only buying my book but spending your time reading it. That really is the greatest gift any writer could receive.
I love chatting about books and have been an active reader and reviewer for a long time, so I look forward to discussing some with you! :0)
It's better but it's not. I'm just having that cranky feeling from the little one rubbing off on me. Hopefully, this will pass after my husband gets home and I have adult company. So far, no word on my computer. We ordered a new hard drive, but we're going to try to recover the content on the old one. If I have to lose all of my artwork and books, I can deal, but I want my writing stuff back.
Kayla at MyBookMuse wrote: "Thanks for the add! Look forward to chatting about books and reading your book!"I'm sorry, Kayla. I didn't see this until now. Looking forward to chatting with you too, I see that we share a lot of favorites! :)
Stacia (and her imaginary friend) wrote: "
To one of my new favorite authors! I wish you lots of success!"
Thank you! I'm finally getting more excited/less nervous too! I started loading it up to Create Space today, yay paperbacks! <3
Thanks. :) It was actually relaxing. It snowed, so we stayed in and my man cooked for me. Nothing exciting, but we're going out with family next weekend, so it was nice enough.
I love that picture! Thanks so much. I feel the exact same way about you. Some days I don't even want to log onto GR but then I see comments like yours and everything is right with the world again.
Carina wrote: "I had no idea you are getting a book out soon!! I'm excited =D"Thank you, Carina! It's too soon, I'm very nervous! :0)
Fathima wrote: "Hey Rebecca !!! Thanks for the add , nice to meet you here :D"Hi Fathima, looking forward to chatting with you! :0)
I just wanted to send a hug your way. Thanks for being one of the few people on this site who kind of gets where my mind is at when it comes to books. :)
Angie wrote: "I just wanted to say that I LOVE your comments on Stacia's review and I completely agree!"Thank you, Angie. Stacia could def handle it herself, I just can't seem to keep my mouth shut where reviewer attacking is concerned. :0)
Louise wrote: "thank you for accepting the friend invite Rebecca, hope to chat with you soon about books here:)"Thank you, Louise for the request! Look forward to chatting with you too!! :0)
Rebecca wrote: "Hopefully, I will be able to read a lot tomorrow...Well, those sound like excellent reasons. I'm actually back home and didn't have time to pick up a book yesterday so I understand. I won't lie, I may be being a touch selfish. I just can't imagine liking Leah...or Caleb. Therefore, my curiousity is on overdrive and I love hearing your thoughts and reading your reviews.
Hopefully, I will be able to read a lot tomorrow. I had to go to my sons football playoffs thins morning and I went to a concert tonight, so I have a lot of reading to make up for!!
Thank you for adding me! Yeah, I looked at your books and it looks like we have similar tastes! It's been a while since I read Sempre, but that just goes to show it wasn't my favorite because I hardly remember it. There are a couple of similar books that I kind of lump together. Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you! :0)
Hello Rebecca! Thanks for accepting my friendvite! You had me at Sempre. I just couldn't finish the book! Now I have someone to even out most of the overhyped books! Thanks again! Will definitely talk about books with you sometime! :)
I know! Today's a good buzz day! That's happy news. The Rephaim book that Joan and I are reading is reminding me a lot of Angelfall, in a good way.
Brenna wrote: "Thanks for accepting my request! Your 'about me' had me cracking up - I feel the same way! :) Looking forward to talking books with you!"Thank you for adding me! :0)

Love the cover. It's not as bold as I was expecting but still...this means one step closer to having the book in my hands!

YW. I will probably watch the debate tonight too. I'm trying to stretch this read out anyway. I've only lived in Hawaii for a little over a year donut hasn't gotten to that point yet, but sometimes I wish I could just get in my car and drive somewhere else, I miss road trips. We only have another two years left here, so trying to enjoy it while we can. I will def have to check out your blog! :0)
