I was born in 1963. Started reading fantasy and science fiction with the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs when I was 7. As I grew I added more and more authors to my list, Isaac Asimov, E.E. Doc Smith, Tolkien, etc. Every book with a cover by Frank Frazetta was soon in my collection.

In high school I made friends who introduced me to Dungeons and Dragons, a brand new game at the time. Now I could both READ and PLAY out the adventures I loved so much.

A lot of my desire to write comes from playing dungeons and dragons and inventing worlds to play in since about 1978. My friends and I would sit around to ponder and question the mysteries of magic, dragons, and other planes of existence in fantasy worlds.

Thomas Cardin No, I have not heard of them.

Adelaide Metzger Question: Did you happen to get started with OutSkirts Press?

Thomas Cardin Adelaide wrote: "Is "The Final Warden" available on nook? If not, do you know if the kindle edition would read on my nook?"

Not yet. Right now it is an Amazon exclusive until the end of April. I will release it to Smashwords and B&N after that.

It is available in paperback through Createspace and Amazon as well. I can attest that the quality of the paperback is very nice, but it is a more expensive solution.

I will post here as soon as availability opens up to other ereaders and devices.

Thomas Cardin The Final Warden is now available through Createspace! Right now it is just the print version. If I am reading things right, it will be available from Amazon.com and Amazon Europe in 5-7 business days and the ebook will soon follow that release.

I am beside myself. This was a lot of work, but now that I have gotten the first book out the door, I think I loved every minute of it!

I acknowledge her in the book, and I am going to acknowledge her again here: Thank you Charla Arabie, I have come to trust your opinion above all others who are outside the small circle of my family. Charla has gone on to beta read the second and third books and she has given me wonderful feedback throughout.

Thank you to everyone else who has visited here or on Facebook or upon my blog who has shared an encouraging word or even a LIKE--I need them. When the fuels run low, and I am trying to write after a long day at my "real job", those are the things that really perk me up.
