Jan Graham likes to write things, whether or not anyone wants to read them. She has a blog, called Just Cranky, and sometimes hangs out on Threads as @jantankerous. But her true love is writing fiction.

Jan has a professional background in psychology, and is fascinated by the contradictions between what people think they want for themselves, and what would actually be best for them. She likes complicated female protagonists, both straight and gay, and writes fiction that is not easily categorized, which apparently is not a good thing when it comes time for book promotion.

Jan and her wife have been dividing their time between Provincetown MA, Valencia, Spain, and San Diego, CA, trying to figure out where they actually live.
