Aaron R. Costa is a respiratory therapist, former U.S. Navy Corpsman, and storyteller drawn to the darker edges of human nature.

His work blends psychological tension with real-world experience, exploring grief, memory, and the thin line between justice and vengeance.

Costa’s debut novel, Paralytic, is a gritty, cinematic thriller shaped by years spent in hospitals, war zones, and the quiet moments in between—where people are most vulnerable, and most real.

He lives in Texas with his family and his tuxedo cats, who remain unimpressed by his accomplishments.

I found these books as a 30 year old college student in ATX around 2010. FPW has created one of the most dynamic antiheros in RMJ. It took me a couple of reads to finally get everything but this book is the best!
