I have always loved the writing process. I started out working freelance for Bnews in Melbourne before writing for many other publications (Queensland Pride, Star Observer, Out in Perth, among others).

I also contributed fiction to gay ebooks, which was the brainchild of the wonderful Gary Dunne (this was the online platform of the former Blackwattle Press).

These days I enjoy writing fiction - telling stories and sharing thoughts with other writers and readers. Apart from that, my main pastime is sleeping!

“A good book was like a fondly remembered lover. You could think back and say, yes I enjoyed it, it was satisfying, and even, if only fleetingly, it may have touched your soul.. You could recall the good bits and overlook the faults, and even when it was cast aside, you could think of it with affection.”

Alistair Sutton The Day Before you came is an atmospheric, light-hearted romp through 1980s Sydney, where drag queens, bitchy socialites, even bitchier barmen, and the odd leather fetishist are not always as they seem ...
