There are always exceptions to the rules.

And sometimes you don’t realize there can be exceptions to the rules, until you are one.

Should we seek to be the exception to the rule? Absolutely not. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t ever exceptions to rules. And fortunately, I am not anyone else’s judge. Because I am not privy to their personal revelation, as they are not privy to mine.

I’ve been studying the story in the scriptures after Lehi had a vision about the destruction of Jerusalem and he packs up his family and leaves town. But then he sends his sons back to that very town that was so dangerous they had to leave it. Twice. Part of me wonders why a prophet of God didn’t have the foresight to know that he would need to take the scriptures with him on this journey, or the foresight to know that his children would need spouses if they were going to be able to multiply and replenish the earth eventually, and later in the promised land. But nonetheless, he sent them back after the fact. And after failed attempts to get the brass plates, Nephi returned on his own, not knowing how he was going to do the task but knowing the Lord would provide a way. He had faith.

And this is where it gets interesting. He happens to stumble across Laban, the man holding their beloved scriptures hostage so to speak, drunk and passed out on the ground. Does the Spirit prompt him to take Laban’s cloak and sword and the Lord change Nephi’s voice so that he can pretend to be Laban at the treasury to retrieve the scriptures and then leave the same way he came with none being the wiser? Laban able to wake and return home safe after the fact? Nope. Did he send a lightening strike to cause Laban’s despise, so that Nephi wouldn’t have to deal with him? Nope. Instead, the Holy Ghost prompted Nephi to break a commandment of God – given to the children of Israel by a prophet of God named Moses. Thou shalt not kill.

Wait, you mean to tell me that the commandment, Thou shalt not kill is not a “one size fits all” commandment? That what the prophet says isn’t always final? This wasn’t an in the situation self-defense moment that could ethically be justified, though Laban had tried to kill them the last time they were in the city and tried to “buy” the scriptures from him with their family’s wealth. No, in this instance, Laban was passed out on the ground, literally defenseless.

I reminded myself that we believe the Book of Mormon to be the most true and correct book on the face of the earth today. And that we are also taught to liken the scriptures unto ourselves. And this scripture story from that book is telling us that the commandment to not kill did not apply to Nephi in that moment and in that situation in time. Nephi wasn’t a prophet at that point. But he was on the Lord’s errand, and the Spirit gave him a direction. Did he automatically pull-out Laban’s sword and take the man’s life? No. He said, or thought in a prayerful manner, now wait a minute, I have never killed a man in my life. Are you sure? He was seeking a confirmation from the Spirit. Which, if I were in that situation, I would have done too. And Nephi received that confirmation through personal revelation. Through the Holy Ghost – a member of the godhead. And after that confirmation, he killed Laban.

So what does that mean? Does that mean that turn the other cheek is not a one size fits all teaching from the scriptures either? Ammon literally cut off the arms of Lamanites that were trying to steal or scatter the king’s flock he was responsible for. Jesus took a whip into the temple and chased out money changers with it. Moroni led an army against the Lamanites to protect his family, his country and freedoms, and his religion. In fact, when Jesus knew that he would soon be leaving his apostles, he told them, “he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.” (Luke 22: 36) But wait, the Anti-Nephi-Lehi’s buried their weapons of war and covenanted after their conversion, to never take another life. And the Lord protected them, through Heleman’s Stripling Warriors, who were also miraculously protected. So why no miracle for Nephi preventing him from having to take a life?

Why didn’t these other scripture heros turn the other cheek? Why weren’t they anti-violence, or anti-weapon? The scriptures say that the Nephites had never been happier than during the time of Moroni and even revere him by saying that if all men were like him, the devil would have no power over the hearts of the children of men.

This creates a quandary in my mind. How can both be true? Thou shalt not kill, and, it’s okay to take a man’s life if the Spirit tells you to. Turn the other cheek, unless the spirit tells you to stand up and fight in multiple battles that kill people, to protect your freedom, religion, your wife and children? Be gentle and kind, unless evil men try to scatter flocks of the king you are responsible for which will then cause the king to execute the servants responsible for the flocks. Be patient with those not doing what is right in the temple, unless you are indeed charged with “cleaning” the temple of those who were defiling it.

It’s taken a lot of courage for me to ask these questions, especially when we’ve been taught since we were young that if we do what is right, we will be blessed. And then when you are doing everything right – tragedy still strikes, and trials still bombard you. Yet we are also taught to read, study and follow the scriptures – the word of God written by prophets called of God. And the scriptures clearly have within their sacred pages, many different examples that contradict its own (or the Lord’s own) teachings of dire importance and with dire consequences of following each or not following each, in different situations.

So essentially, what I am understanding is that the scriptures are teaching us that we should follow the prophet unless the spirit constrains us from doing so. I know, the cognitive dissonance is real and I’ve been struggling with it for a while now. Especially after receiving personal revelation – very strong and clear personal revelation (3 times by the way, because I didn’t just take the promptings at face value either, just like Nephi) that I should not force my family to wear face masks – not to be rebellious – but because they would be harmfulto us. And that we should not be vaccinated with an experimental vaccine with no long-term safety data and that doesn’t even provide immunity for which they are vaccinating you against – a virus with a 99% survival rate for the majority of population, and certainly the ages of those in my immediate family.

The Lord provided a way for Nephi to do what He needed done. It just wasn’t the, thou shalt not kill or turn the other cheek way. Which teaches me that there is no one size fits all for anything: mandates or policies, laws or urgings. And I also realize that some have received personal revelation that they and their family should wear masks and get vaccinated. To which I say, great! You have your truth and your spiritual confirmation for your situation.

But so do I. Is mine any less valid than yours? I can’t judge the way you received your personalrevelation, so is it fair for you to judge the way I received my personalrevelation?

Can you imagine if Nephi went back to camp with the scriptures, and his brothers who finally got out of him (he was probably a little shell shocked, having just taken another person’s life), how he had gotten the scriptures? Can you imagine the ribbing and verbal attacks that Laman and Lemuel gave him? Up to that point, I don’t even think Laman and Lemuel had killed anyone yet. And here was their younger brother, who was trying to be a righteous “leader over them” and who had favor of the Lord, who killed a man! And the questioning looks from Sam, not knowing what to say, worried about his brother. Did he verbally accuse Nephi of being an apostate because he didn’t follow the prophet (like family members have accused me of being because I followed the Spirit)? Or was Sam in awe of Nephi and his courage and his ability to follow the Spirit so closely in that extremely difficult situation – and grateful that he wasn’t the one that was called on to do such a difficult thing?

But Nephi had just taken a life. A life that the Holy Spirit had prompted him to take. How are we supposed to liken that scripture story to us? Why are we given the gift of the Holy Ghost, if we are supposed to ALWAYS follow everything the prophet tells us to do? Shouldn’t the prophet be enough? And why are we given the Holy Ghost if we are supposed to ALWAYS follow the scriptures? How can all three make sense, if they contradict each other – even within the very pages of those scriptures?

And then when Nephi and his brothers returned to his family in the wilderness, did he get reprimanded for breaking a commandment of God? For not following the prophet? Did self-righteous ward members call him up and tell him that he was sinning for killing a man? Did they lecture him on how he must have been following the wrong spirit – because it went against what the prophet Moses had said? I don’t know, the scriptures don’t tell us that. But I can tell you that my family has experienced that. In fact, we were told that members of our ward had died because of “people like us” that don’t wear masks. Why would the Lord put us in that situation unless we were ALL supposed to learn something from it? Why was Nephi put in that situation? Why was that situation of Nephi’s put in the scriptures that we are told to follow, if we aren’t supposed to follow it and learn something from it?

Again, which truth do you follow? The truth that every self-righteous church member or local priesthood leader tells you that you should follow? The truth the prophet tells you to follow? The truth the scriptures tell you to follow?

Or the truth the Holy Spirit tells you to follow? Truth that comes from the one source that is not imperfect like a man can be imperfect, biased like a man can be biased, self-righteous like a man can be self-righteous? The truth that comes from one of the members of the Godhead?

But that can’t be right. Right? Because if everyone was just going to follow the Holy Spirit and receive personal revelation all willy nilly like that, going against what the prophet has said, then who could judge them and let them know that yes, they did receive that personal revelation and are doing what is right (and are an exception to the rule), or no – they are delusional and made up that “personal revelation” so that they could be an exception to the rule and not have to wear masks or get vaccinated?

Maybe that’s the point. Maybe it’s not black or white like we have tried to formulate it in our minds to be so that we as imperfect human beings can understand it. It gets a little hairy and complicated for me. Like how it is possible to have a Savior that provides both mercy and justice at the same time. An oxymoron of sorts. Being the mother of a son who has been a victim of a severe crime, how can there ever be justice for my son who was innocent and the victim, but at the same time, mercy for the criminal who abused him (a self-righteous church member and priesthood leader in our ward). But just because I can’t fully wrap my head around it, doesn’t mean it isn’t truth.

I have been learning to follow the spirit my whole life, many times in very difficult and important situations, and I have a testimony that when I follow the Spirit, my life and my family are blessed. Not necessarily in worldly ways like with a steady income, the best running car, or a constant clean bill of health. But with miracle after miracle, experience after experience, confirming this testimony to me. So no, I’m not going to stop following the Spirit because what the Spirit tells me to do might make someone else uncomfortable and have to think about these difficult situations in the scriptures that many would prefer to gloss over and not deeply analyze. I’m not obligated to make anyone feel comfortable. I’m sure Nephi, Moroni, Ammon, and our Savior Jesus Christ, didn’t make everyone around them feel comfortable when they followed the Spirit or the Savior’s own teachings (you know, confronting a bag of literal chopped off human arms doesn’t exactly bring comfort). But they didn’t do it to make other people feel comfortable. They followed the Spirit for God and to fulfill His purposes.

I want you to know that I know that Jesus Christ lives. He loves each and every one of us individually. And he knows that we have individual needs and situations and circumstances. He knows that physically not everyone can fast – even if they have the faith to try to do so. For years after a failed colorectal surgery with the medications I was taking and the diet I was on, I could not fast because constipation would have been the death of me. I’ve also felt the same about women who are pregnant or nursing – they shouldn’t fast unless directed by the spirit to do so. Their body is doing something more important like creating a new life. And when sick, your body is doing something more important like healing.

He knows that not everyone can physically kneel at an alter in the temple, and when they can’t, they can sit in a chair instead – especially after having knee surgery and being unable to bend their knee let alone put any weight on that bent knee.

He knows that not every missionary called to the Mexico City MTC to learn Spanish for their mission can receive shipments of their life-saving clotting-factor medication that must stay refrigerated so that it is ready to reconstitute and be given intravenously when needed while there– so an exception is made for them to attend the Provo MTC instead.

He knows that a young boy who was sexually abused and turned into a functioning alcoholic by a ward member and priesthood leader for 6 years, a child molester, who unfortunately had church leaders – other priesthood leaders - fooled and protecting him for years when questions were raised about him…He knows that that young boy, even though unable to follow the word of wisdom at the time, needed to be able to attend the temple with his family to have his little sister sealed to them.

He knows that not everyone can partake of the sacrament bread if they have an autoimmune disease or an allergy, so they are able to bring their own gluten free bread or cracker so they can participate in that saving ordinance.

Could the Lord have given miracles in each situation instead of giving someone an opportunity to be an exception to the rule? Absolutely. But maybe the experience of the situation, and the understanding of how to use personal revelation and the gift of the Holy Ghost in our lives, is a more important thing to learn. Because by following the Spirit we are choosing Heavenly Father’s will and understanding over our own will and understanding. We are exercising our faith at a higher level than just going through the motions of letting the prophet tell us what we should do – something that doesn’t help us build our own testimony of truly knowing what the Lord wants us to do in that situation when two things are asked of us that can’t be made sense of together.

IF there are ever exceptions to the rules, there always has to be exceptions to the rule - unless He wants to provide a way for that solution to work for everyone the same way. Like when looking to the serpent staff to be healed of snake bites. Which He is definitely capable of doing. But if that were the case with my situation, then I wouldn’t have received personal revelation different from what church members had been urged to do. And if it was safe and effective for everyone, then church members who died from a stroke or heart attack, or suffered from Guillain Barre Syndrome, or other auto immune diseases, or paralysis shortly after receiving the vaccination, wouldn’t have happened. And those who have suffered with mental, emotional, and not to mention physical consequences from keeping viruses and bacteria (that their bodies try to expel out of our mouths and nose as part of our God-given immune system) trapped on a thin piece of cloth so that their body is forced to re-breathe it in over and over again, subjecting their body to infection, wouldn’t happen. And by the way, bacterial pneumonia which is caused by wearing masks regularly, has the same symptoms as COVID – which the hospitals aren’t looking or testing for, and if not treated properly, can also cause respiratory distress and death.

I remember in family scripture study as a youth ,my dad talking about how there is always the letter of the law and then the spirit of the law. I don’t think I truly understood that until the last several years. Because in my experience, over and over and over again, including more recently, there is no one size fits all, just like when Jesus prevented those who were legally allowed to stone a woman for committing adultery, by reminding them that they too were not without sin. He healed a man, and ate food from a field on the Sabbath – all against the letter of the law. He butted heads with the government leaders and medical professionals of his time over and over again. The same people our current first presidency is telling us to trust. But not every government official or medical professional believes the same things or encourages the same things. How do we know which person with which viewpoint, and with which scientific study paid for by the companies that stand to profit the most from the treatment they are pushing, to trust, if not by praying to God and acting directly on the personal revelation we receive?

Why were we given the gift of the Holy Ghost if we already had the scriptures, and a living prophet? Is it the redundancy that provides the most safety? I recently learned about the Circle of Willis and the important role it plays to brain blood circulation in my graduate aphasiology class. It seems that God planned for a lot of important systems to be redundant for a reason, including the testimony of three witnesses, and the testimony of the eight witnesses.

I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ, for a Heavenly Father who knows me and my family and our needs individually, and for the gift of the Holy Ghost that provides me with personal revelation and the free agency to act on that personal revelation. The same free agency that we all fought for before we came to earth, but are now all too willing to let the government and our fellow human beings, remove from us so that we can feel “comfortable” and “safe.” I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live, and will provide a way for each of us in our individual situations to do the things that they want us and NEED us to do. What is right for us.

And I’m also grateful that it is not my prerogative to judge anyone on how they receive or don’t receive or act on or don’t act on their own personal revelation. We sing about Nephi’s courage in Primary. He had the courage to have faith, to know that the Lord would provide a way for him. He had the courage to trust the way that was provided to him, even though it was not the way he expected or even would have wanted, and asked for and received confirmation when he had questions about it.

I hope and pray that I can have the courage of Nephi, the courage of Moroni, Ammon, and countless other examples in the scriptures, including Jesus Christ. Because I too know that the Lord will provide a way for each one of us to accomplish the things that He has commanded us, in the way that he wants us to individually accomplish them. Even if that makes us an exception to the “rule.”

I created quite the stir within the church scene the other day. I assure you it was purely innocent on my part. But the words have started filling my head while I am trying to sleep again – so it looks like I’m back. It’s been a while – but when the Spirit speaks, I feel it important to follow. However, I know that the spirit is willing, but my flesh is weak. I’m trying my best here.

I can understand why an entire church would blindly follow a prophet, who is a man – just like themselves. But what I can’t understand is why people would blindly follow the mainstream media, especially since the Smith Mundt Act and Project Mockingbird are PUBLIC RECORD. It is extremely important that you read both (especially how it affects the mainstream media in the United States of America), for you to be able to understand the rest of this post. We’re taught to “Search, Ponder and Pray,” so consider this the searching part of your due diligence. So please take 5 minutes and go look up both of those things. And do me a favor, go to www.duckduckgo.com to search, instead of Google. You’ll get very similar results – the ones that Google censors and the ones they don’t. I don’t know about you, but I totally trust Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc. (sarcasm) to decide what I can and cannot learn about and who I can and cannot learn from. Last I checked, they do not follow the Holy Spirit when making these decisions – so I choose to trust the source of all truth, rather than big tech and social media. So do me a favor and copy and paste both of those phrases above (one at a time) into the DuckDuckGo search engine and spend 5 minutes reading about them. Then come back and you and I will be able to understand each other a little better.

Awesome. I appreciate you taking the time to see where I am coming from. And isn’t it enlightening to learn new things? Knowing what you know NOW, does that change your world view at all? I can tell you – it did mine. Knowing that the mainstream media in the United States of America can LEGALLY lie to us and manipulate us and feed us PROPAGANDA (“communication that is primarily used to influence an audience and further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be selectively presenting facts to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is being presented” – Wikipedia) – should be eye-opening for everyone.

So a little background in case you’re new here – and happen to still be reading. Last year I became very confused with the fear narrative, the government’s response, the church’s response, and how polarized the whole country became. So, I decided to “Search, Ponder and Pray.” And after the praying part, I received a VERY CLEAR answer from the Spirit that eventually reminded me that fear is not God’s way (it is literally the opposite of faith) and that there was a lot of deceit going on in the world. I was directed to continue to search and follow the Spirit. And then I received another direction – that I should write about what I was learning to help others learn too. A tall order for a gal who would rather avoid confrontation and conflict in a world teaming with wolves in sheep’s clothing. But through trusting Him, I have started this journey to discover truth – not truth to the world (who we already know can legally lie and manipulate us), but Truth to God (who loves us and wants us to be happy and live by faith, not fear).

So think about your interaction with the media this year. If there hadn’t been someone constantly telling you we should be afraid of this new virus that supposedly nobody understood (and they still don’t understand – just ask if they can prove that it has even been isolated in a lab yet) all year long, would you have even known it existed? Was it so deadly that people were dropping dead in the streets all around you? I know images from the media are now coming to your mind – so try to remember that actors can be paid, images and videos can be altered, headlines CAN LEGALLY LIE and twist the truth and presidents of media companies are paid by those who want you to be afraid instead of having faith in God. Because once you decide to trust in God and ask him through faith what is true or not – their whole narrative dissolves and they lose control over you. Fear creates ratings, ratings create more funding, and the government gets to train you to think through fear rather than faith (and that THEY will be your savior, not Jesus Christ). That the only way we will all survive this pandemic is to trust in them as they slowly take each of our God-given and constitutional rights away – and not question any of it! Stay with me.

I’m not trying to be insensitive. I know that people have died over the last year and a half, and just about every family I know, including my own, has been affected by this virus on some level. But if you knew that the protocol used at the hospitals is what is killing the majority of patients – especially those who are older and those with preexisting conditions, would you be surprised? What if you knew that there is a very effective and inexpensive prophylactic treatment (one you take to prevent infection) for those who are at risk, and the sooner you treat an infected individual with the same inexpensive and very effective treatment (that has less side-effects than Tylenol and Asprin), the better – not waiting until they can’t breathe and then telling them to come to the hospital (which is the CDC and NIH protocol!). At that point if oxygen is not helping, they immediately put people on ventilators (remember the ventilator shortage?). That is what killed people – the wrong protocol – not this virus with a 99.9% recovery rate for the majority of the population (just like the flu). The fear created by the media (that our own government instigated by giving them permission) created panic, and everyone who was sick followed what the government told them to do, and a lot of people died in the process. We trusted in the arm of flesh.

Ask yourself this, why are even medical professionals so polarized in this “pandemic”? We keep hearing “follow the science” but what they really mean, is we can only follow the science that they tell us to follow – and if anyone tries to go against that narrative of science that they approve, they will censor and silence them. I don’t know about you, but “science” is constantly changing and evolving. Didn’t we all learn that in 8thgrade – about the scientific process? You know, someone has a hypothesis, then we collect data, observe and experiment to test that hypothesis. Never in the history of science were scientists and doctors told that they weren’t allowed to ask questions or try to improve upon what they already know or have been told. Otherwise, we would never have new research and new treatments. Yet that is what our government and social media are telling us – that there is only one science right now and we cannot question it! Gone is critical thinking. Gone is using your experience and knowledge and building on that. And gone is the medical doctor’s freedom to treat a patient how they believe they should be treated according to the best treatments that they know, and their experience. Isn’t that why we have the freedom to get a second opinion? If we don’t like the prognosis or treatment plan that one doctor gives us, we can find another doctor that gives us different options (two different sciences). Why is it suddenly different with Fauci (who has not clinically treated one patient with COVID)? It’s all the sudden his way or the highway. Do you realize that the government is now threatening to revoke medical licenses from doctors who have successfully treated thousands of COVID patients, with NO DEATHS, because they did not follow their “wait until you can’t breathe and then put you on a ventilator only giving you a 20% survivability rate, encouraging your body to give up” treatment protocol?

When you tell me to trust medical professionals, do you know what I think of? Two of my last three surgeries and everything that went wrong with them. Medical professionals are human too – and while I believe some try to follow the Spirit when treating individuals, the majority do not. Medical professionals are for the most part taught to think within the box of the school of thought they were taught in. Why do you think naturopathic doctors are shunned by them? Because they think outside of that box that they were taught. Doctors today are taught to look up ailments on a particular website and prescribe the drug that that website tells them to. Do you know what is missing? Figuring out what is causing the problem and trying to fix thatrather than just treating the problem. Before last year my doctor recommended I be on over 35 different prescription medications for the ailments and symptoms that I went to them for. And I trusted them – I blindly followed their “authority”! And I kept having symptoms (possibly side-effects from the chemicals I was putting in my body??), but no one with superior knowledge of the body and how it works could tell me how to fix what was causing the problem, not just putting a bandage on the symptom. I think medical doctors do a lot of good. But I think that they all have their own motivations, biases, experiences and ethics.

So the first surgery was by a colorectal surgeon. I told him that I had a bleeding disorder – and like usual, he didn’t even ask if I needed any clotting factor before or after surgery. But I did my due diligence and got my hematologist involved (who knows how to treat my hemophilia) and we made a plan for me to receive that clotting factor before and after. She also advocated for me to have the surgery in a hospital rather than an outpatient center, just in case any bleeding became uncontrollable. But the problems came after the surgery. I had severe swelling and pain and for weeks I was unable to function properly. Every time I called the surgeon’s office because I felt like what I was experiencing was beyond the realm of what I should expect after surgery – the nurse would always tell me I was fine and that some pain is expected. Without even seeing what I was talking about, she insisted I was fine and overreacting. When I finally got an appointment to see the surgeon (after requesting a different surgeon because I no longer felt good about the one I had – which they refused to let me do!) he said, “wow! We should have charged you for weight loss surgery too – you’re down 20 pounds!” And then, “ooooh, yeah, that is a lot of swelling.” I had been suffering for weeks in excruciating pain and he was joking about wanting to make more money off of me and then validated what I already knew – I had a lot of swelling that shouldn’t still be there! It has been years, and I still do not function properly and have had painful side-effects since. What I didn’t do that time, was my due diligence. I didn’t research the surgeon beforehand (my doctor referred him to me, so he should know what he is doing, right?) and I didn’t pray about the surgeon, OR whether or not I should have the surgery that he recommended. That was on me – but he was not innocent in his lack of knowledge, lack of bedside manners and blatant vanity.

The second surgery was on my right knee. I tore my meniscus, ACL, MCL and LCL. I felt good about my surgeon this time. I had done my research and knew he was successful and experienced with good reviews. We got the treatment plan from my hematologist – clotting factor before and after – and they put me under. What I woke up to was two nurses arguing with each other in a panicked tone. Come to find out, that even though my chart said to administer the clotting factor right after the meds that would knock me out before the surgery – whoever was responsible for that forgot to give me the clotting factor (which has to be done intravenously). It took me a really long time to heal and recover, and had my body had the clotting factor in place before the surgery, it may have had the tools it needed and started that healing process faster. My point? Medical professionals make mistakes all the time. They are human too, meaning they are not all knowing and all powerful – unlike our Heavenly Father.

So when a new statement from the first presidency of the church came back that contradicted the spiritual confirmation that I had already received, and my research that the Spirit directed me to do did not support, I was a very shaken. Not testimony-wise or faith-wise, but rather “how can both be true?”-wise. So the first thing I did, after reading and re-reading the statement and feeling rather strange – including making observations about the wording and the language used, and the claims stated, I did what I have always done and been taught to do – I went to the source – God – to find out the truthfulness of the statement as it related to me and my family. I also noted the verb “urge” was used – not “required” which in and of itself implies individual interpretation and choice, but it was certainly not emphasized. And the answer I received, through tears, was the same as before – including sharing what I know while following the Spirit. A tall order in a world filled with passion and hate and judgement and blame and shame right now.  

So now to the “stir” I caused amidst my fellow ward and stake members. Back when the church first released the news statement that the prophet had been vaccinated and he urged everyone else to get it, I AGAIN did what I had been taught my whole life when I hear something that I didn’t think went along with the research and data that I had been finding and learning through the direction of the Holy Ghost. I prayed about it. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God… James 1:5.” I received an answer that my family and I should not get the experimental vaccine. But in that news statement, the prophet had said that it was still a personal choice, and individuals should consult with their personal medical professionals. Well in my research, I was able to find doctors that had done the same research and have questioned that narrative as well, so my personal medical professionals also do not believe that this experimental vaccine is safe and don’t recommend it. That added to the prompting that I had already received – we shouldn’t get it.

Now fast forward to the next “new” statement by the first presidency (no signatures though, like every proclamation we have received – just their typed names at the end – ). They were again urging members to get the experimental vaccine. And making other statements throughout the news release, that I have learned through my research guided by the Spirit and have already come to the conclusion through the Spirit, were untrue. But this time, no mention of individual choice. I also observed that common language usually used by our general authorities like, “we have received revelation” or “it is a personal decision” (which was mentioned in their last statement), or “seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost” or ANYTHING relating to God or the Gospel of Jesus Christ – was MIA from it. But what it did say was to trust the medical professionals and government officials. So yeah, I was a little confused, especially with my history with medical professionals (and the general track record of politicians and government officials). Never in the history of the church has the prophet or the scriptures told us to trust in the arm of flesh – and not God. The prophet is not God – he is supposed to speak for God when he is acting as a prophet. But he is also human and subject to human weakness, bias (a retired medical professional), and his own experience).

So seeing how this conflicted with my first 2 answers from the Spirit, I took it to the Lord again and asked if it was HIS will. The answer I received shook me. Through tears (yes, again!) I asked for understanding and wondered why the answer I was receiving went against what the first presidency was saying. I was reminded that I had already received my answer. And then I received a very clear direction that I needed to speak out. But that when I did, I needed to be very careful that I only said what the Spirit directed me to.

So when the statement that I was confusingly at odds with was posted on our ward and stake Relief Society Facebook pages, my heart started pounding in my chest. That is the feeling I get when I am supposed to bear my testimony in fast and testimony meetings. So I prayed and asked the Lord if I was supposed to make a post about the statement – not encouraging people to blatantly go against what the first presidency urged, but to let people know that it’s okay if they felt the same way as me after reading it (confused? Strange? Not feeling the Spirit like I normally do when I read things from the general authorities?) – and we have the gift of the Holy Ghost for a reason – to receive personal revelation and testimony about what our church leaders are saying is true. But most importantly to receive personal revelation of what is right and true for us as individuals (and also as families) to follow. I don’t know who needed to read that post, or if it was a test for the Lord to see how others in the ward and stake would respond (out of judgement or out of Christlike love) – I don’t know why the Lord used me as a vessel to say what the Spirit directed me to say. But I followed the direction I received from the Spirit, just like I have always tried to do. While the prophet of God receives revelation and inspiration to guide the Church as a whole, revelation flows at every level, including to the leaders of congregations and to individual families and members. “Anyone else feel that there is something different about this statement? It seems very politically correct and surprisingly does not mention individual choice or God or Jesus Christ or revelation or scripture or praying to receive guidance from the Holy Spirit – just that we should trust in the arm of flesh (put our trust in medical professionals and government officials who are human). Just an unexpected observation.

There are medical professionals in favor of these things and medical professionals that are NOT in favor of these things (the same goes for government officials) – so wouldn’t we use the Spirit to help us know which “arm of flesh" (each who has his own experience, bias, and free agency) - to trust? And shouldn’t we trust God first and foremost? That is what we teach converts every day – pray and find out for yourself what is right and true. And not surprisingly, what is right and true in this circumstance may be different for each person – so we really have no reason to judge anyone who may get a different answer and therefore make a different choice about these things than we did. That is the beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm grateful that I have the gift of the Holy Ghost to guide me in times like these.”

I posted my observations, facts from the statement, and then encouraged others who were also confused to use the Gift of the Holy Ghost to receive personal revelation from God Himself.

And that is when the firestorm began. Quite honestly, I was surprised at some of the responses that my post received. Definitely polarized, definitely judging, definitely shaming. But also some thanking me, saying they felt the same way. For some reason it had just rubbed them the wrong way too. I wanted to reply to some of them, but I only ended up responding to one that posted a link to a conference talk that has helped her over the past year – by adding a link to a conference talk that has also been helpful to me recently (scandalous, right?). Every other time I went to respond, the Spirit constrained me, and I didn’t.

The post didn’t stay up very long (CENSORED!!) – so I’m hoping that the purposes of the Lord were met before my post was deleted along with all the comments. I’m guessing they thought that I was encouraging people to commit apostasy instead of encouraging them to go the source (God the Father) and ask for themselves – you, know, church policy? I don’t know why they thought my post needed to be censored like everything else nowadays. As far as I’m concerned, knowledge is power, and the more we can study and learn, the more we can pray about to find out what is true – especially through the guidance of the Spirit.

A young healthy father in his 30’s in my sister-in-law’s ward had a stroke a few days after he got the vaccine. He died alone on the floor in the church bathroom. Another church member found him. I don’t think his family thinks that this vaccine is “safe and effective” – no matter what some medical professionals and government officials say. And this man was probably just trying to follow the prophet. So to the analogies I got on my Facebook post that I needed to, like in Moses’ time, just have faith and look to the serpent staff and live, I say – THIS MAN DID THAT, and he did not live to tell about it. He had young children and a wife. He was in a leadership position in his ward. He was doing everything “right.”

There is no “one size fits all” with vaccines, or even with masks. There are thousands and thousands of vaccine injured children, and yet, if vaccines are so “safe and effective,” why does the United States of America still have one of the highest infant and child mortality rates? One of the highest rates of SIDS? Childhood cancer? Autism? At the rate autism diagnosis is increasing right now in the United States, they estimate 1 in every 2 children will be diagnosed with autism by the year 2030 – 50%! Why don’t you see the same mortality rates, childhood cancer and autism rates, in less developed countries that don’t give over 30 vaccines with chemicals and toxins in them that if we as parents spoon fed our children – would send us to prison? And contrary to popular belief, there has not been any long-term studies on childhood vaccines either – and the makers of the vaccines have been given immunity from providing restitution if you have an adverse reaction from them. Yes, I’ve learned a lot over the last year, just by letting the Spirit guide my research. I’m also no longer on the majority of my prescription medications, I’ve lost 40 pounds, I feel healthier and younger, and my brain fog, and mental health have improved immensely. Another testimony to me on how following the Spirit for our personal health choices can bless our lives physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Olivia Sandor was accepted into BYU Hawaii and was planning to attend this fall as a freshman. Her dreams were shattered in June when the university decided that the experimental vaccine would be mandated for all students this Fall (which violates the Nuremberg Code – including proper informed consent and the ability to choose if you participate in an experiment or not). Well Olivia had an adverse reaction to a flu vaccine as a teenager. She was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, Guillain Barre Syndrome (which is a very common adverse reaction to vaccines) and was paralyzed from the waist down. Through her faith, she believes she was miraculously healed after a long recovery. But her medical doctors told her that she should not get the experimental vaccine (or any other vaccine for that matter). If she did, it could end in severe permanent paralysis or even death if the disease spread to her heart. So she filled out a medical exemption form. And was denied. She and her family appealed that decision. And she was denied again. She is literally in the age group that is hardly affected by COVID – with a survivability rate of over 99% (similar to her flu survivability rate), yet a medical exemption (something the university had said was an option and easily accessible for those who needed it) was denied. So this young woman has to decide between a high possibility of severe paralysis or death and her college education? And when they scare everyone into believing that vaccine mandates are the only way we can all not die from a virus that has a 99.9% survivability rate by the majority of the population – is this young woman never going to be able to buy groceries for her family? Go to church? Travel to see her parents? Can you not see the insanity? Because she doesn’t want to take something that can kill her? Shouldn’t that be her choice and not the government’s? Or the church’s?

Again, there is no “one size fits all” with vaccines or masks. I know someone with a lung disease, and her medical professionals told her NOT to wear a mask during a respiratory virus pandemic. Why, you ask? Isn’t she more at risk? Because she is more likely to die from bacterial pneumonia from wearing a mask. You can’t force or mandate that everyone put something into their body or put something over their mouth and nose without knowing their individual circumstance. Can you not see how that is unethical? Saying that it is okay for a few hundred or a few thousand or even a million to be paralyzed or suffer neurological conditions or die from a stroke for the “greater good”?. What if your child or grandchild, spouse, or parent or grandparent is one that had to be “sacrificed” for the greater good? What if you were?

And now, can you see why praying and asking God Himself whether this vaccine is safe and right for you is an individual decision, with the advice of your medical professionals taken into consideration when you ask in prayer? And that the answer and the choice you make after receiving that answer shouldn’t be between anyone but you and the Lord? You can’t tell me it is “safe and effective” for EVERYONE, or that if you follow the prophet you won’t have an adverse reaction. I already know of one church member’s death after getting the vaccine – from a blood clot – which is public record that the vaccines can cause. But that doesn’t mean he is the only one. The media censors any information that is contrary to their narrative. People and their vaccine adverse reaction stories are being censored from social media and the mainstream media. I have been following several stories of vaccine injury from this experimental vaccine (from paralysis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, other auto immune disease, blindness, Bells Palsy, miscarriage, seizures, rashes, to even death). I choose to be informed and research what is going on around us. I choose to study the scriptures that tell us that in the last days the world will be polarized, love will wax cold, neighbor will turn against neighbor, that deceit and false prophets and false-christs will surround us, and that when the Savior returns He will clean his own house first (that means the church, which implies that there will be corruption in the church and possibly even in our church leaders). I choose not to live in that bubble that I used to think protected me, but was just encouraging my naivety and my inability to learn and act on truth. I don’t want to live my life in fear. I don’t want to lose all of my constitutional and God-given rights, because once they take them away, it will only be through a revolution that we get them back. Is that the world that we want to leave for our children? The Lord prepared this great free nation that we live in for a reason. He restored his church here – which has received great opposition since the beginning. All because a young boy named Joseph was willing to question things that his local church leaders were telling him. They didn’t sit well with him, so he took it to the source – God, and asked in faith what was true. And he received his answer.

And so can we.

 

So I’ve had to take a bit of a break because my heart just hurts. Not in a physical way, though it does cause some physical pain, but in a heartache kind of way. The way that watching your once great country crumble before your eyes hurts. The way that watching people you once admired and respected controlled by puppet strings hurts. The way that watching people be offended by everything and everyone just so they can claim victimhood hurts. The way that cancel culture silences opposing opinions and ideas hurts. And this whole time, I’ve been wondering what in the world happened to common sense? Where has our logic gone? And why is everyone pretending like this is the new “normal?”

I was at church the other day, struggling to breathe through my mask, so I kept pushing it down to breathe every once in a while. I mean, every other pew is blocked off for social distancing, and had I been in a restaurant, it would be expected to take off my mask and eat if I were at a table, right? And then I started pushing it down when I needed to talk to my 3-year-old daughter, because, I don’t know, I believe children should be able to see their parent’s faces when they talk to them – which teaches them how to read body language and become socially able. And then the sacrament came my way. So what did I do? I made sure my mask was up and snug over my nose and mouth. And then what did I do? As soon as the tray was in front of me, I removed my mask so that I could partake of the sacrament, and then put my mask back on. And then I realized. WHILE THE TRAY WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, you know, the tray that everyone takes from, my mask was down and I was breathing all over the bread (and later the water). And then I realized that everyone before me had done the same thing. So this whole time we are wearing masks like obedient little sheep, limiting oxygen to our brain (that I’ve been told our brains and bodies need TO SURVIVE), to prevent the spread of moisturized air droplets that could contain a virus that is 99.9% recoverable by the majority of the population, only to remove that mask while the food that everyone in the room is taking from is right in front of us? Please explain that logic to me.

And that got me thinking. Why are they using a sanitizing wipe to wipe down the podium and microphone after every speaker, but not wiping down the door handles for the building after each person goes in or out? And not sanitizing the restroom after each person uses it? Please explain that logic to me. Either we are being hyper vigilant and compliant, or we are only doing what is visually needed to have an outward show of “compliance.”

Oh, right. We don’t use logic anymore. It has become more about our outward appearance of “compliance” than about our actual health and the health of others. And you know what the problem is with outward appearances? That gives those that comply the justified feeling that they can call out, harass and attack those that choose not to comply – or can’t comply (medical exemptions for physical and mental illnesses). You know, brotherly love and everything. I remember when Jesus spent his time with the “unclean” to minister to them and heal them. But nowadays at church it is okay to discriminate against those with medical exemptions who can’t wear masks and those who choose not to wear masks because they believe that they have the right to breathe oxygen – and no one can take that right away - because those who are more compliant are somehow better and more obedient and care more and deserve to be there to worship Jesus Christ more than the others? HEALTHY individuals who do not wear a mask are “unclean” somehow and are not welcome in the presence of those who are more compliant to the government (I don’t need to share new research studies with you that show that asymptomatic transfer is practically non-existent – you know, because the media will get right on that). And it is justified, right? For the health and safety of the whole congregation?

I seem to remember a time in the scriptures when the Zoramites decided that those who were poor couldn’t worship in their synagogues. The same people that helped to build those synagogues. Why? Because they were poor and “unclean.” Have we really reverted back to that? Who do you think made the rules at the Zoramite synagogues? God or Jesus Christ? Or people and church leaders who thought they were justified in keeping the congregation away from those who did not fit their social norm? Oh yeah, and these were the same people that built the Rameumptom. Will that come next? Those who wear masks (or choose to be vaccinated with an experimental vaccine) are allowed to sit closer to the podium, or they will build a higher podium that only those who wear masks (or choose to be vaccinated with an experimental vaccine) are allowed to speak from? Or maybe those who aren’t vaccinated can’t come to church and worship at all?

You get my point. But the lack of common sense and logic doesn’t stop there. No, in fact I’m pretty sure it is a symptom of a bigger problem. The reason why we feel we have to be compliant to our government rather than our God and His teachings of acceptance and patience, love and faith (NOT FEAR!). But I get it. Fear is a big motivator. People are afraid that they could die from this virus, or their loved ones could die from this virus – people have died from this virus. People are afraid that they could catch it in their own car while they are driving alone with their mask on. People are afraid that if they touch an unsanitized grocery cart it will be a death sentence. But how did human being’s bodies survive this long if we were so fragile? How many plagues and pandemics has the human race survived? And if the Lord allowed a plague to overtake the world and kill everyone, wouldn’t that defeat his purposes and the three-fold mission of his church? So why are we basing our lack of logic and common sense on fear? If the author of faith is Jesus Christ, then who is the author of fear? If we are allowing fear to guide every decision we are making, than who are we following and essentially giving power to?

That gets us to the point of why fear is such a motivating tactic, which stands to reason why our government would be employing that tactic to gain compliance. Not compliance to keep us safe, but compliance to keep us contained and focusing on the distraction of a virus that is 99.9% recoverable by the majority of the population – you know – similar to the flu. Distract us from what? Oh, I don’t know, maybe election fraud, attempts to bring to fruition a global power that can control everyone and everything in the world (it has been openly talked about), but that can’t be it, right? Maybe an attempt to slowly remove our constitutional and God-give rights? But our government wouldn’t do that to us, right? No government has ever done that to their people, right? Because governments always have their citizen’s best interests in mind, right? You know, communist China and their concentration camps of their own citizens where they are raped and murdered and separated from their families is for their best interest, right? And Nazi Germany exterminating their own citizens was for their best interests, right? I mean, they told their people that Jews were “unclean” and used their media as propaganda to convince good-hearted and hard-working German citizens to be afraid of their neighbors because they were unclean and because they were unclean, posed a threat. That doesn’t sound familiar does it? I mean, wearing a mask doesn’t equate wearing a gold star on your clothing, does it? Well I can tell you this much, Hitler sure didn’t take power and announce to the world that he planned to kill hundreds of thousands of people because they were “less than,” did he? Nope. He started with fear. With propaganda. And the people fell for it. Logic disappeared and common sense evaded the people. Yeah, kind of like what is unfolding right in front of our eyes. And I’ve only listed 2 examples of almost every overreaching government throughout history and RIGHT NOW. You see, with power always comes the pursuit of more power. It is what always happens. Remember the pride cycle in the scriptures?

Our country has certainly been blessed. But the constitution doesn’t give us the right to breathe oxygen. It doesn’t give us the right to work and provide for our families. It doesn’t give us the right to life and the pursuit of happiness. It doesn’t give us the right to protect and defend our families. Those are God-given rights. The constitution’s purpose was to prevent the government from infringing upon those God-given rights. So tell me this. Does the government legally have the authority to tell me if I am an essential enough person in an essential enough profession to work or not? That my family is essential enough to be provided for or not? Does it have the right to prevent me from peacefully congregating and worshiping? Does it have the right to prevent me from leaving my home and telling me how I can leave my home and why I can leave my home and when I can leave my home? It’s a slippery slope. Honestly, our government only has power as We the People give it to them. Because if the government no longer protects our God-given rights, then it is our responsibility to take that power back from them.

I get it though. We are afraid that the government will punish us if we don’t comply (if our neighbors don’t get there first). In fact, they might. But does that make it right? Does that make it okay to demean and belittle and marginalize people and their families and their rights and needs? I’ve seen the meme going around that states that the people protecting Anne Frank were breaking the law. The people who killed her were following the law. So when do we cross that line? And how did the people involved in that scenario become so complacent and motivated to do such horrendous things to their fellow human beings? Fear. Propaganda. The government said there was a threat to their society and they knew how to eliminate that threat. And good, God-fearing people let them – even though it was morally and ethically wrong.

So how did the government and the main stream media lead us to believe that we should be so afraid of this virus? Misinformaiton. Panic. Inflating the “numbers.” Paying hospitals kick-backs for every COVID diagnosed patient and COVID death. Which also inflated the numbers. Because if a person died from jumping out a two story building, but they also happened to test positive for COVID, if they listed COVID on the death report, that hospital received thousands of dollars in federal aid. So there is no motivation to list the true and actual cause of death, even though that is what killed this person. Common sense, right? Why would hospitals do that? Why would governments encourage that? Because it inflates their numbers and maintains the fearmongering that is allowing them to control us. You can watch members from our government health organizations list criteria for what counts as a legal COVID death. Literally, they could have tested positive 60 days before and you can still call it a COVID death. Even if they recovered completely, had no symptoms, or were misdiagnosed by a false-positive PCR test. It doesn’t matter if that is what actually killed them or not. And the PCR tests that have been used to diagnose? Yeah, those have been proven to have up to a 97% false-positive rate – yet that is what we based all of our numbers off of for the majority of last year. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT PERCENTAGE? That means that it is possible that only 3% of those who were told they had COVID actually had COVID, and not some other virus or bacterial respiratory infection. And the flu? Gone. Where are all our annual flu cases THAT ALSO KILL PEOPLE EVERY YEAR? It isn’t possible that even a small percentage of those being diagnosed as COIVD positive had the flu, right, or a really bad cold, right? Because the PCR tests were so accurate. Don’t worry! Common sense and logic has our backs, right? Then why are they still using these faulty tests?? As well as recommending TWO masks now. You know, because we weren’t compliant enough already. And we can ignore the many research studies that have come out showing that masks don’t work, because the government and media censors that information – because it goes against their fear narrative. Yay! More logic!

But logic and common sense don’t matter to us anymore. We are trusting institutions and leaders that are motivated by paychecks and kick-backs from big pharma and vaccine companies to make decisions for us and our families. In fact the CDC has now said that those who are vaccinated can now congregate together in small groups. And what about those who got COVID and recovered? Don’t they have the same antibodies? Oh yeah, we are not using common sense or logic anymore. Any more than the experimental vaccines illicitly state that they MAY NOT EVEN prevent you from getting the virus. That’s right. If you get COVID after the vaccine, it MAY make your symptoms not as bad. Then what is the point of getting the vaccine for herd immunity if it isn’t even making people immune? And if the vaccine isn’t making people immune, then why are vaccinated individuals allowed to congregate, but those with natural immune system immunity aren’t? And why are they making vaccination with an experimental vaccine mandatory in some areas to keep your job, to fly on a plane, to participate in other activities? Definitely common sense! Never mind the fact that it eliminates a person’s choice to decide what goes into their own bodies.

That’s right. Because we don’t live by logic any more. We only live by fear. By what the media tells us to live by. We’ve even forgotten to bring God into the equation. The Holy Spirit testifies of truth, so have we prayed about what is happening in our country right now? Have we prayed about every instance of lack of logic and common sense that we are living right now? Does your heart or gut tell you that something is off? Yeah. I know. It is so much easier to let other people make decisions for us than to stand up for what is right and true. Which by the way, was the adversary’s plan before we came to earth – to make us comply rather than letting us make our own decisions with free agency. But that is okay. The government will save us all, especially as they continue to eliminate our constitutional rights (and Free Agency) one by one while we are so distracted by this virus with a 99.9% recovery rate for the majority of the population.

Please do your own research. Please make decisions for yourself – what is best for you and your own family. Please involve God in the equation. Please revert back to common sense and logic. These things were working really well for us before. So maybe we should bring them back?

Words keep coming to me. Yesterday I realized how much of a burden they are. But I fear the rebuke of God more than I fear man. I also thought it fitting that in my personal study I was reading in Alma 46 today. I’m pretty sure there are no such things as coincidences. So here we go again… and by the way, happy President’s Day.

People keep telling me that Joe Biden is my president for the next 4 years and I just need to get used to it. I’m sorry. If I own a car, and someone steals it, just because they deny stealing it and refuse to let anyone see the evidence of MY title and the car insurance in MY name, AND the video of them from my porch showing them unlawfully taking MY car, does not mean that my car is theirs. Even if they tell everyone that I am crazy, that they have been using the car to go to work and pick up their kids from school for years, it is still my car. Even if they threaten violence and convince people to rise up and intimidate me and threaten to put me and my children in concentration camps, and even my children in a wood chipper (a real Tweet from a Disney producer) if I don’t agree that my car is theirs, IT IS STILL MY CAR. Will I sit back and say, oh, I guess I just have to accept that this thief is the owner of my car for the next 4 years because that is what he is saying and that is what everyone is trying to scare me into believing? Absolutely not. I live in the United States of America. I would call the police, report my vehicle stolen, and when they find it (even though it may be damaged beyond repair – if not gone forever), it will be returned to me. If they are caught in the act they will be charged with a crime. If I take them to court, show my proof of ownership and my video evidence, and when the thief fails to prove their case, they will have to pay for their crime.

So why would I accept this fraudulent scenario for the presidency of the most powerful nation in the free world? Did you see all of the PROOF of how they have lied and cheated, pushed a false narrative and doctored fake and misleading evidence in the recent 2nd impeachment hearing? If you didn’t, I suggest you watch it. It is eye-opening.

Do you know what gaslighting is? It is a form of abuse. The person doing the gaslighting manipulates you psychologically to the point that you start to question your own sanity. They tell you a certain narrative that is NOT TRUE, and drill it in to you over and over and over again, and when you question that narrative they tell you that you’re crazy. By the time they are done with you, you are actually letting them control you by letting them control the false narrative. Then they actively shut down your TRUE and valid thoughts, ideas and experiences – things that you witness with your own eyes. This is where we are at people. The liberal left, the same individuals that have decided, without giving us a choice, that our country will be involved in Agenda 21, the Great Reset, the New World Order. And by the way, these are openly talked about, not conspiracy theories. Their goal is to enslave the entire world because they have chosen a sovereign entity (who decides who that is?) to control all wealth, resources and people.

If Biden was our legitimate president, why are they so afraid to let the world see all the evidence of “alleged” voter fraud? Are they forcing a narrative and removing the ability for us to see how false their narrative really is? And then threatening those of us who are not going along with this false narrative to scare us into submission? This is not how the election of the president of The United States of America works. It is not about not making waves. It is not about avoiding conflict. This is about letting someone with an evil agenda who is a puppet for those with a more evil agenda, take over our lives, our rights, our freedoms and our way of life. This is about our future and our children’s futures.

And the funny thing is, I don’t understand why people are trying to turn our great country into something that it isn’t. If you hate freedom so much and the ability to have your own thoughts and rights - if you are so lazy that you want someone to dictate to you what you can and can’t do all day every day - then why don’t you move to China? They have already mastered it there! But that is their goal, isn’t it? And they have the liberal left thinking that they will be the winners if they can get away with all of this. But if there is one dictator – everyone loses. Everyone’s opinions and rights will eventually be taken away, otherwise that dictator wouldn’t be effective. The other option is to work under the dictator and do their bidding (which still means you can’t think or act for yourself). The unfortunate thing is that they have the mainstream media and social media on their sides. Which means they are constantly and effectively spreading their propaganda to unsuspecting and too trusting Americans, who unfortunately are falling for it. Why else would people be okay with a stolen election by a tyrant who has already started executive ordering away our freedoms under the guise of how this is for our safety, for our protection, for this New World Order where one person owns everyone and all the resources? Because we are too “simple minded” to govern ourselves (Obama).

But the silver lining? Our founding fathers planned for something like this. They were kind of brilliant, led by God so that his gospel could be restored to the earth, and saving ordinances performed without a government interfering. We live in the Promised Land. Now the question is, are we willing to fight for it? Or are we going to let them steal our car while they convince everyone that it is theirs, and then run it into the ground after using it to commit unlawful and unconstitutional crimes?

We can’t afford to not fight for it. Because their narrative is false. They are the frauds. They are the ones trying to remove our freedom of speech, our right to bear arms (which is specifically so that we can fight back against our government if necessary, by the way), freedom of religion, our parental rights, and our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Because if we wait 4 years to do something about it, it will be too late.

So what do we do? That is the million dollar question. We the People have been sleeping so long – not necessarily intentionally – that we’ve only just noticed that they have been doing this for a long time, in gradual increments. We have trusted that our elections have been fair. We have trusted that our elected officials have had our best interests in mind. We have been lied to and conditioned to believe that lie, or be called a conspiracy theorist, or worse, silenced. But that was before the whole world began to wake up. Before We the Sheeple remembered that we are in fact We the People. But we have to act now before irreparable damage and more resulting chaos and heartache become our new true narrative.

Have you ever wondered why President Donald Trump is so hated? Is it because we all know him personally and understand his motivations? Or is it because the media has told us to hate him? Have you ever wondered why the liberal left has been working so tirelessly hard to convince us of his weaknesses, incompetency and womanizing ways? They have tried to impeach him twice now and he was acquitted both times. Why? Because their narrative is false and always has been – and there are still people out there who are actually fighting for US. The reason the liberal left want everyone to hate him is because they know that his true purpose is to fight for the American people – the exact opposite of their agenda. He was trying to remove the corruption and the corruption fought back hard. Really hard. I’m also guilty of believing the media. Until I realized that if they were so desperate to remove him from office, then there must be a reason. Just look at all of the things he accomplished the short 4 years he was in office. By the time he was in office for 500 days, he had already accomplished 60 things including promises he made during his campaign. Did the media cover that?? And don’t look for it on Google or the main stream media – they have hidden his exceptional track record. They have edited videos, taken things out of context, and have painted a false narrative so that when we questioned them, they could tell us that we are the crazy ones. It may surprise you to know that he has done more for black Americans, the LGBTQ community, small businesses, women and the disabled than any other president. Why isn’t this public knowledge, with gratitude echoing from the rooftops? Are you starting to see the big picture now?

So back to… but what can we do about it? As individuals, we can stop listening to their narrative. We can DO OUR OWN RESEARCH. The DuckDuckGo search engine is one of a few that are uncensored. Pay attention to what social media is pushing down your throat and realize there is a reason for that – and that whatever they are pushing is probably the opposite of how it really is (recall one of my previous posts about good being seen as evil and evil being seen as good in the last days?). They are really committed to their stolen car because of all of the evil things they can do with it. There are red flags everywhere. We can start talking to friends and family and start waking up our loved ones to the manipulation, propaganda and gaslighting that is happening right in front of our faces. We can teach our children about the constitution and why it is so important and how we have to preserve it at all cost.

But that doesn’t give us our stolen car back, does it? No, but it is a start. Do you remember after the revolutionary war when General George Washington rebuffed presidential offers? It wasn’t until they begged him to lead that he finally relented. Yet he did. And the rest is history.

I’ve been convinced that Donald J. Trump has been playing 3-D chess this whole time. He had to step away from the stolen election so that the American people could begin to see on their own what is actually going on and what has actually been going on for a long time in our government – and to show us how quickly things can become dire, as seen by the ridiculous number of executive orders that Biden has forced through without involving congress or the justice system, which are the very checks and balances for our country. And I believe that when we get desperate enough, we will plead for President Trump to come back and continue to fight for our country, defeat the corruption that he has ALREADY started working on (including the FBI and CIA), and save our constitution from being erased under the guise of this New World Order. But unless enough of us are on the same page, it wouldn’t make sense for him to fight for us. Especially if we are not willing to stand up for, let alone fight for ourselves, our families, and our children.

I personally am already there. Each day this car thief continues to deceive our nation and the world, the more we lose. And it is not just a justice issue, though that is huge in and of itself. It is a moral issue. If we just “wait” until the next election in 4 years, are we senseless enough to believe that it won’t be just as rigged as the last one? If you are telling yourself we will fight back in 4 years at the polls, you are ignoring the blatant car stealing that happened during this last election. The video evidence, the eye-witness testimonies, the testing of the machines that show they were programmed to switch votes and connected to other countries via the internet, the countless numbers of dead and unregistered voters that somehow filled out ballots for our car thief. And in 4 years, we think that all of that will just right itself and won’t happen again? This is propaganda at its best. They don’t want us to fight back. They want us to feel uncomfortable, ostracized, scared for our lives and our children’s lives. Not only have they stolen our car, but they are bullying us into submission.

And I’m going to try one more time, in case the car thing doesn’t make sense to you. What if you met the perfect person and got engaged, planned the wedding and showed up on your wedding day only to find a stranger standing where your significant other is supposed to stand. What if that stranger’s family and friends all came and convinced every single one of your friends and family that they were your real fiancée. What if they convinced the clergy or judge and forced you to go through with the wedding anyways, because if you didn’t something bad would happen to those you love – not because THEY are an evil person, but because of YOU speaking out or demanding your real fiancée. What if they told you that you must be crazy for not remembering how much you love them and want to spend the rest of your life with them? Would you be okay with waiting 4 years before you say something, or try to do everything you can to marry your real fiancée instead of this imposter? Say you are complacent because you didn’t want to make waves, and as soon as the ceremony ends this imposter started limiting what you could say, where you could go, who you could talk to, your access to healthcare and health decisions, if and where you could work, what you could think – all while threatening you and making you feel like if you disagree with them that YOU are the crazy one? Sound familiar? Please tell me you understand the situation we as a nation are CURRENTLY IN RIGHT NOW.

Still want to wait 4 years just to have them cheat again? Because if they get away with it once, you can bet that they are going to try to get away with it again (and they have probably already gotten away with it for years in many other elections – you don’t just hijack a presidential election on a whim).

The other day I felt inspired to pen this letter. My family and I have signed it and will put it in the mail today. I’ve included a picture of the original document as well as a link to the PDF document. I would be completely fine with it if you wanted to print, sign, and mail your own copy. In fact, I would appreciate that. Or you could use ours as a template and pen your own. This is OUR country, OUR freedoms, and OUR future. It’s not like we are taking something that we didn’t rightfully earn through our election. It is not our fault that they cheated, rigged the system and lied to us about all of it. If begging our modern-day General George Washington will help to organize us and help us get our true president back, and prosecute those who have treated us with so much disdain, disrespect, committing obvious acts of treason against our country and We the American People all while trying to stamp out our freedoms, then I for one am going to try.

If the words of Moroni aren’t stirring enough, I will end with the final words of Sophie Scholl, a 21-year old anti-Nazi activist that was put to death by guillotine for her efforts to “wake up” her fellow citizens who were seemingly blind to the atrocities going on around them, “Such a fine, sunny day, and I have to go. But what does my death matter, if through us thousands of people are awakened and stirred to action?”

Is our freedom, or more importantly our children’s freedom worth fighting for?

So the American Pediatric Association (APA) just released an article in the January 2021 American Academy of Pediatrics journal saying that doctors should stop calling breastfeeding “natural.”

“…we are concerned about breastfeeding promotion that praises breastfeeding as the “natural” way to feed infants.”

Why would the APA make such an absurd statement? Because natural breastfeeding may have unintended consequences of the parent seeking out other “natural” ways of health and life.

I wonder if the APA can hear themselves while writing this article:

“Beneath the concern of many Americans over vaccine safety, a specific and not necessarily illogical worldview is discernable: a rejection of the manufactured, the synthetic and the “unnatural,” and an embrace of the “natural” as healthier and intrinsically better. Vaccines are often seen as “unnatural,” and boosting immunity “naturally” is viewed by some as the healthier and better approach. Online forums and blogs devoted to natural living offer countless examples of this perspective, and the recent book Vaccine Nation by Elena Conis documents the evolution of this worldview in detail. Studies have shown that parents who resist vaccination tend to inhabit networks of like-minded individuals with similar beliefs. I’ve blogged recently about censorship and how conservatism and conservative ideas and morals are being shut down across main stream media and social media platforms. In fact, even more recently, conservatives have been demonized and called domestic terrorists, and racists among a slew of other things based on the actions of just a few. The world is in the middle of a fight between good versus evil, and censoring opinions on either side shuts down the flow of knowledge that allows individuals and families the opportunity of due diligence in their research – which is paramount to making informed decisions. And what about their inherent right to basic freedoms and caring for themselves and their family members in a way that they feel is best? What happened to “my body my choice”?

It is not surprising that the liberal powers that be, that financially fund medical associations and organizations that are supposed to only base their recommendations on scientific facts and what is best for us from a medical perspective, are now also fighting against a person’s right to choose what to put in their own bodies and their children’s bodies, whether “natural” or “unnatural.” They are seeking to shut down a WHOLE CULTURE that is based on things that are “natural,” because some of them disagree with this culture and mindset. And the American people are letting them continue this sham. They have our best interests in mind, right? Well, before we come to any logical or emotional conclusions here, let’s look at who is donating to and funding this astute American Pediatric Association. It kind of makes sense now, doesn’t it? If your major funding sources are baby formula, big pharma, and vaccine companies, you wouldn’t have any pressure or bias towards recommending “unnatural” ways of healing and living life, versus “natural” would you? Always follow the money. Our nation’s capital is surrounded by lobbyists for the same reason. The majority don’t have our best interests in mind, but rather their own pocket books and whatever agenda their funding source wants them to push.

For example, Abbott, the parent company of Pedialyte, also recommended by the American Pediatric Association (AND ONE OF THE TOP FUNDING COMPANIES LISTED ON THE APA WEBSITE), and has a whole lot of SUGAR in it, also sells diabetes glucose monitors. Conflict of interest? Follow the money.

And when COVID-19 emerged, several doctors touted the effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine in both treating and preventing the virus. But almost immediately, reports published in the Lancet by the American Medical Association came out that Hydroxychloroquine was bad for you and could even kill you. Meantime, in other countries, people who take this medication regularly and have safely and effectively taken it regularly for years to prevent Malaria, were confused by this statement. In fact Dr. Faucci knew that Chloroquine medication types had been proven in the past to treat other strains of cononaviruses because of a study published in the Virology Journal in 2005. From the article,

“Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by a newly discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV). No effective prophylactic or post-exposure therapy is currently available. We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations. Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.”

Hydroxychloroquine is also successfully used around the world to treat some auto-immune diseases, and a rare bleeding disorder and doctors noticed almost immediately that patients on this medication were not contracting COVID-19. And if a patient already had COVID-19, this medication practically cured their symptoms – especially if given early on in the virus. Then miraculously, after the vaccine companies had already gotten their vaccines underway, and their aggressive advertising campaigns backed by the main stream media and social media platforms – you may also want to look into who is funding these experimental vaccines (including companies tied to the Gates foundation and Dr. Anthony Faucci) – in October of 2020 they RESCINDED their article and reported that Hydroxychloroquine actually helpsCOVID-19 patients. But the damage had already been done, so many lives had been lost, and the main stream media had already run with the danger story, and didn’t even bother to report on the false article BY THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION - who was well aware that the drug was safe and is even sold over the counter in other countries - being rescinded. Instead the main stream media touted the safety of the EXPERIMENTAL vaccines (that no safety or efficacy has been reported on in animal or human trials yet according to normal vaccine testing standards) that big tech and big pharma and billionaires have been funding and pushing and who essentially will financially benefit from in a ginormous and global way. Why is the main stream media so one sided? Why did Dr. Faucci not encourage emergency (shortened length) studies on Hydroxychloroquine on COVID-19 because that drug has less side effects than Tylenol, and certainly doesn’t need an experimental vaccine that has unknown side-effects? Follow the money.

Did you know that a lot of these same companies and billionaires including the Chinese Communist Party are funding the main stream media? You can read my last post for more on that can of worms. What about that the same factory that COVID-19 came from in China also makes vaccines – and that Dr. Anthony Faucci and Bill Gates also have ties to that factory? These are all coincidences, right? Follow the money. They have made this information very difficult to find, but it is there.

Since I mentioned Bill Gates, did you know that in his 2010 TED talk he talks about how the world is overpopulated? Here is a direct quote, “now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, healthcare, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15%.” Say what? I can understand how reproductive services in the form of abortion and birth control can reduce future population numbers, but how exactly will new vaccines and healthcare reduce population? I thought vaccines and healthcare were supposed to save and preserve lives? THEY ARE TELLING US DIRECTLY TO OUR FACES WHAT THEIR AGENDAS ARE. Are we listening? Are we sure we want any new vaccine that Bill Gates (who is NOT a medical doctor or scientist) is funding? Especially when he has already told us that new vaccines could lower our problem of overpopulation? The man sells computer software, and then also the virus software to keep his own computer software programs running. Conflict of interest? Suspicious intent? Follow the money.

In 2010, did you know that Obama appointed an FDA commissioner that had formerly worked with a company that made, sold and profited off of genetically modified (unnatural) food? This is the organization that is supposed to make sure the food, water, and medications approved for consumption in the United States are safe and effective. Have you looked into the values and qualifications of the newest appointed commissioner? The bias is everywhere and the hypocrisy is ripe, yet as Americans, we are blind to what is going on around us. And why are certain chemicals and food additives banned in other country’s foods because they are harmful, can cause cancer, and other devastating consequences, yet approved for consumption in the United States? Follow the money.

I guess it begs the question, is anything labeled “natural” a detriment to society? Or is it more so a detriment to the billion dollar industries that overwhelmingly dominate our country – monopolizing food supplies, medical treatments and price points? Are they trying to shut down the opposite opinion and way of life because it is really harmful to our health, or because it is harmful to their pocketbooks and agenda? If a lot of these unnatural chemicals were banned in our country, what would happen to the multi-billion dollar health industry that profits off of the health conditions those chemicals cause? And then who would fund the organizations that tell us what is healthy or not? Don’t bother researching Google for the answers. They are just as censored and biased and funded by the same companies. Follow the money.  

The organizations that are supposed to guide us and help us maintain our best health are funded by companies that sell products that profit off of poor health. Let that sink in. Really sink in.

Congress men and women who are supposed to fight for their constituent’s rights and needs are overwhelmed by lobbyists who have their own agendas. Who has who’s back?

Why is cancer, autism, obesity, auto immune diseases, heart disease, and diabetes at record highs in our country, more so than any third world country or even other first world countries? If our agencies were so good at telling us and deciding for us what is “healthy” and what is “natural” or not, then why is our country’s health so poor?

As far as I’m concerned a person should be able to decide if they want to use “natural” or “unnatural” ways to eat, drink and heal. But I’m tired of agencies and associations that are supposed to be champions for our well-being, benefiting from the companies that are invested in our poor health.

The definition of mammalfrom the American Heritage Dictionary is “any of various warm-blooded vertebrate animals of the class Mammalia, including humans, characterized by a covering of hair on the skin and, in the female, milk-producing mammary glands for nourishing the young.”

And the definition of naturalfrom the American Heritage Dictionary is “Present in or produced by nature. Of, relating to, or concerning nature. Conforming to the usual or ordinary course of nature.”

Yeah, I’m pretty sure breastfeeding is “natural” and is actually a factual part of what defines our own species. I’m not sure how much more scientific evidence is needed there. But let’s wait and see if they change those definitions if the near future, like they did the definition of a “pandemic” after COVID-19’s numbers were not following under the original definition so they could keep the mask mandates and lock-downs going, and the way they changed the definition of “herd immunity” to include immunity by vaccines after the onset of COVID-19. Say what? Follow the agendas. Follow the restrictions on our basic human and American rights and freedoms. Follow the ways they are trying to divide us by gender, culture, race, political party, viewpoints, socio economic status, values, and ways of life. Are they trying to distract us from what is really going on? If we unified as a human race and actually fought for our health, safety and rights instead of letting biased individuals and multi-billion dollar industries deciding that for us, we might have a chance. Oh, and don’t trust the “fact checkers” and “rumor checkers” or “conspiracy checkers” either. They are also on the payrolls. Just look up who leads Facebook’s “independent fact checking” organization, paid for by Facebook by the way. What are their qualifications you might ask? Their ability to censor any kind of information that goes against the agenda their funding sources have. There seems to be a theme.

Follow the money.

 

The Spirit has been weighing a lot of thoughts in my mind recently, so here is another post. In Genesis 3: 22 it says, “And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil…”

Though Adam and Eve had transgressed, this step was a vital part of the plan. Without knowing the difference between good and evil, there would be no point in us having to prove ourselves to God. We also had to have opposites. In Doctrine and Covenants 29:39 it says, “And it must needs be that the devil should tempt the children of men, or they could not be agents unto themselves; for if they never should have bitter they could not know the sweet –”

If evil was never introduced to Adam and Eve, they would not fully understand good because there was nothing to compare it to. Likewise, they would not fully appreciate God and the good that He is without knowing the devil and the evil that he is.

Now let’s think for a moment why freedom of speech is so important. If what we say is censored and we are only allowed to hear one side of an argument, then it removes the ability we have to “be agents unto” ourselves. And do you see how the evil side could take advantage of that? If we only heard evil, then we would not hear the good, know it's contrast to evil, and be able to stand up against it.

And what if evil could force their narrative, and censor out good to the point that we started to believe that evil was good – good for us, for our families, and for our country? And that lies were actually truth?

In Isaiah 5:20 Isaiah warns us that in the last days we will start to confuse good and evil, “ Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.”

What if we didn’t even know it was happening, because evil gained our trust, and then began to feed us lies instead of truth and facts? Is it our responsibility to actively be seeking truth and good? Even if our information and facts are being censored removing truth and good from everything we are told?

Absolutely.

Moroni 7: 12-19 says, “Wherefore, all things which are good cometh of God; and that which is evil cometh of the devil; for the devil is an enemy unto God, and fighteth against him continually, and inviteth and enticeth to sin, and to do that which is evil continually. But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God. Wherefore, take heed, my beloved brethren, that ye do not judge that which is evil to be of God, or that which is good and of God to be of the devil. For behold, my brethren, it is given unto you to judge, that ye may know good from evil; and the way to judge is as plain, that ye may know with a perfect knowledge, as the daylight is from the dark night. For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God. But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in Christ, and deny him, and serve not God, then ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the devil; for after this manner doth the devil work, for he persuadeth no man to do good, no, not one; neither do his angels; neither do they who subject themselves unto him. And now, my brethren, seeing that ye know the light by which ye may judge, which light is the light of Christ, see that ye do not judge wrongfully; for with that same judgment which ye judge ye shall also be judged. Wherefore, I beseech of you, brethren, that ye should search diligently in the light of Christ that ye may know good from evil; and if ye will lay hold upon every good thing, and condemn it not, ye certainly will be a child of Christ.”

God knew that the side of evil would try to confuse us. That is why he has given every one of us the Light of Christ and the Holy Spirit, which helps us to discern truth from falsehood and good from evil.

So if we are just accepting what is happening in the world around us without actively asking and seeking and truly trying to find out what is truth and what is good, then we are not utilizing these precious gifts that God has given us to be able to know that we are truly following Him. And the alternative is evil. Are we willing to risk our ignorance which could lead to following evil?

Why does this matter right now? Have you heard of fake news? Journalism was once founded on the telling of facts to inform the people. But have you noticed recently that only one side of the story is being told and it always seems biased? I used to be an opinion columnist. There is a big difference between facts and opinion, what is biased and unbiased. But people are still trusting the news as if they are telling facts. Are you unsure? Then I invite you to use those precious gifts that God has given us.

And what about “Fact Checkers”? They wouldn’t lead us astray, right?

What if fact checking organizations were created to emphasize the narrative being told by the media, and those doing the “fact checking” are biased as well?

For some, this sounds ridiculous, and I would have said that a year ago too. But once you start seeking truth – really seeking truth – you can’t unsee the falsehoods all around you. And it pains you to know that so many people are idly and blindly following that false narrative because the knowledge of what is really going on is too brutal for them to accept. We don’t want to know or see how bad things have gotten. We don’t want to accept that the organizations that we have trusted for so long are actually deceiving us. But could it happen? That is where we need to use our own critical thinking skills. Could you say beyond a shadow of a doubt, the media could not have been paid-off by large companies and political agendas to say what they want you to hear? I can’t. Which is what led me down this path of seeking my own knowledge and finding out for myself what is true. It seems so simple, but it was a long lonely path. And you can’t just talk about it openly amongst friends because most people are so blindsided that they would call you a conspiracy theorist, or worse. And if you get vocal enough, the powerful other side could even shut you down by publicly slandering you, “proving” that it is truth with their paid “fact checkers”, preventing you from being able to find a job to provide for your family, or even murdering you and making it seem like a suicide. It seems extreme, but when the devil’s plan is to indoctrinate the entire human race with lies, hatred, and confusion to lead us astray, is any tactic too extreme against those that fight back? Have millions across the world been slaughtered for their beliefs and faith?

In my first of these series of posts I talked about the Gadianton Robbers, and how we read about them in ancient times. These individuals worshiped the devil and plotted against everything right and good, and infiltrated top levels of government and society. And eventually brought the downfall of the Nephite and Jaredite nations. If the devil can have so much power over other generations, do you think he would stop there and not continue to build back up his own kingdom with his schemes and power struggles, corruption and lies through the same channels? Through the elite, wealthy, entitled, power-hungry, politicians? Of course not. If anything, knowing that we are in the Last Days and quickly approaching the time that our Savior will return and overcome him, he would of course be stepping up his game. Of course the devil will be building his army by whatever means he has available to him. And of course they would involve secret societies and secret combinations – because if the general God-fearing public were aware of his schemes and could see them out in the open, they would rise up against it. Wouldn’t they?

So if the wealthy and power-hungry are at the center of these evil secret combinations, you know, the ones who have money and are in powerful and influential places, then why would they not pay-off the media and social media companies to censor out what is truth and get us to fight and disagree with each other in regards to what is true and what is really happening in our country and all around us?

We live in a day and age where information spreads like wildfire. And we also live in an age where Photoshop and video editing software is ever present and available. It is so easy to create something false or manipulate something that is true into something that is false and make it still look true, and then sharing it on whatever platform is available to share it. Anyone can create a website and put statistics on it, and hackers can change and manipulate those statistics on those websites. It really isn’t a jump from knowing that these tactics are possible, to knowing that if they are possible, in this climate, that they are probably being used. And with everything we have learned and know about psychology, is it possible that we have been “trained” to believe every single thing without ever doubting that something could be amiss?

Aren’t you glad we have a God-given remedy to help us seek out and know what is truth? In Moroni we are reminded, “seeing that ye know the light by which ye may judge, which light is the light of Christ, see that ye do not judge wrongfully; for with that same judgment which ye judge ye shall also be judged.”

Can you say with a clear conscience that you did everything in your power to seek out truth and light? Or did you accept what you were told because it was easier? I am also guilty, for years it was easier to let everyone else find and deliver the information to me, even though it could have been false. Even though it could be supporting an evil agenda or narrative.

The great thing about this post is that I’m not telling you what is going on around us is good or evil. I’m not telling you what to believe and what not to believe. I’m reminding you that you have a God-given right to find out for yourself what is true and what is false. And it doesn’t matter if the media or social media is censoring truth. We don’t have to accept what we see or read at face value. We have the Light of Christ and the Holy Spirit, who’s charge it is to validate truth. You don’t have to take my word for it, or anyone else’s. You don’t have to accept what you hear and see without question. You have the power within yourself to know what is true or not. The only scary part is that we will be held accountable for our own truth-seeking actions. If we fail to seek out and follow good, then by our inactions we are actively seeking out and following evil.

In Matthew 7:7 we are promised, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

And in John 14:18 we are promised, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”

And in Romans 15:13, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

And in Doctrine and Covenants 11:12, “And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good – yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit.”

I personally don’t watch the news anymore, or search on web browsers or social media sites that censor information. I don’t fall for the “fear mongering” of the media and their calls to action by giving up my freedoms. I will fight for truth, for honor, for my family and for my God. I’m doing my best to receive information from unbiased sources (because both sides are there – good and evil – but at least both sides are there so that I can learn and know for myself) so that then I can ask the Holy Spirit if it is in fact truth or not and if it does in fact require my attention or action and how to respond. Because now that my eyes have been opened, I can’t unsee the deception and lies all around us. I’ve also realized that the news in other countries are reporting more truth about what is happening in our country than ours is. We’ve been lied to and conditioned to believe what we are told, and the world is watching us, shouting at us to wake up and see what is REALLY happening around us. Because what happens in America will affect the world, and they know that. I can share with you the unbiased and uncensored sites that I have been using if you are interested. But again, you are responsible for your own journey toward truth. I am happy to help and give suggestions along the way, but I can’t make anyone see what they have to eventually see for themselves, especially anyone who is not even ready to seek it out yet. The same goes for our own testimonies of Jesus Christ. People don’t convert people, the Spirit converts people.

I know that God lives and that we are living in the Last Days, preparing the world for the Second Coming of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that there seems to be a lot of scary things going on in the world, and knowing now that what we have been told may not be exactly how it is can be confusing and fear inciting. But God has given us tools and we can trust in him.

Are you willing to watch a video with an open heart and mind? Are you willing to do your own research? Are you willing to understand the risk that not finding out the truth will be on ourselves, our families and our country? I’m not suggesting you believe it, but I’m hoping it will encourage you to think for yourself and to start questioning what is happening right in front of our eyes.

The future is ours, but we can only “be agents unto” ourselves if we are given both good information and evil information to judge from – which is the whole point of our existence. Now, what we do with that information is up to each one of us. However, like always, we can’t choose the consequences that will come because of our actions or inactions. But through our faith and trust in God, we can know that He will deliver on His promises.

It makes freedom of speech have a whole new meaning, doesn’t it?

 

 

 

 

 

Is my right to breath and unalienable right?

 I’m currently in graduate school and the most recent class I completed was all about evidence-based practice. What is evidence-based practice? It combines the needs of the patient/client, clinician expertise, and proven research on the efficacy of the technique you want to use in therapy. It is part of my code of ethics to make sure that what I am doing with a patient/client is not only responsible, but effective. I learned a lot in this class about finding research, reading research articles, and being able to interpret if the information in the article was a highly effective and responsible study giving accurate and statistically significant and clinically significant results or not. And the whole time during this class I was thinking, where is all the double blind, randomized controlled trials with a level 1 or level 2 hierarchy of efficacy surrounding the effectiveness of wearing masks to help prevent the spread of disease? And not the good masks, like gas masks that we know are effective, but thin t-shirt like cloth masks? Or even a clear face-shield type mask that just pushes what you exhale out and around the sides of it?

There isn’t any. Not a single study that says beyond a shadow of a doubt or at least with any kind of accuracy, that wearing masks and/or face shields will protect us or those around us from contracting the virus. Yet the government of our states and even other states and countries throughout the world have mandated wearing a mask in public – and even in some cases in your own home. How is it that the government can mandate cloth mask use when there is no evidence-based research that supports it, when if I did the same thing in my practice, I could be in violation of my code of ethics?

Even our own Dr. Faucci has retracted what he originally stated on national TV and has said that mask wearing and social distancing will not prevent the spread of COVID-19. What? Then why are we still wearing masks, social distancing, and closing businesses and schools, parks and medical institutions that perform medical procedures year round? Misinformation? Mass media fear-mongering?

I’m a pretty simple gal. And all it takes is a little thinking about the logistics and efficacy of all of this. First of all, when in a grocery store, how many people touch a produce item to look for blemishes and then put it down only to pick up a different one and then do the same thing? How many people pick up one can of olives only to realize it is the wrong one and put it back to pick up another one. Are we going to assume everyone washed their hands with soap and water before they came to the store? And then used hand sanitizer before and after they touched anything? Including the bagger and the cashier that slides our food choices toward the bagger? What about those that touch those itchy masks, and then touch something, including children who can’t tolerate wearing a mask and have the audacity to use their God-given right to breathe in that store? The same goes for grocery delivery services – someone is picking out your food for you, touching it, and delivering it. It only takes one person who wipes their itchy nose, smudging their mask down a bit, and then doesn’t use hand sanitizer, right? When you look at it that way, it seems like whatever could be airborne is just one piece of the puzzle – especially when there is no proof that wearing thin cotton or polyester masks are actually doing anything to prevent the spread of the virus. How small is the virus? How small are the holes between the mask fibers? I can tell you that I can see the holes between the cloth mask fibers, and I can’t see the virus, so I’m pretty sure my logic right there means that the virus is not being held back by a simple cloth mask. But that isn’t the point, is it?

But don’t forget about social distancing. Doesn’t that help with reducing the virus? If we can’t get close enough for them to breathe on us, then that will keep us safe, right? FIRST of all, if social distancing worked, why do we have to wear masks? And if masks worked, why would we have to social distance? And are we social distancing when we meet with our doctor in a confined space? Are we ignoring the fact that they have been in that same confined space with over 20 other individuals that day alone? Are we ignoring the fact that the flu kills people every year? Tuberculosis? Cancer? Why don’t we just wear ineffective masks year round to protect everyone that may have a weak immune system? Why don’t we close down small businesses so that large companies can take over the market and become monopolies? Why don’t we kick hard working Americans while they are down and only trying to provide for their families? Because we might protect them? Or because we are pretending that these ridiculous measures are actually helping anything?

I’m confused. People are being forced to wear masks to protect the health of everyone else? Since when has my personal safety and health been everyone else’s job? If everyone cared about my health so much, then why did I have to go for years without going to a doctor because I couldn’t afford outrageously priced health insurance AND life-saving and quality-of-life saving medication that my son and I needed for our medical conditions? Why didn’t anyone demand that the major pharmaceutical companies involved make a lower-priced generic product so that my health was protected? Where was the public rallying around me when one of my surgeries went wrong and the doctor that performed it was not held liable? Why did no one stand up for my health and well-being when I was in so much pain I couldn’t work or take care of my own family? Why is no one standing up for the mental health of all of the people who are dying by suicide in isolation because they lost their job and can’t socialize with others? Why weren’t they there? Because it wasn’t their job to be there. I am responsible for my own health and safety – we all are. Do we have a moral obligation to help if we can? Sure. But my moral obligation to someone else does not come at the expense of my own rights. That kind of defeats the purpose of the constitution. And the fact that the government is the one forcing us to do this is also suspect, isn’t it? And not only because they have forced ineffective methods on us.

So their argument is that if I choose to not wear a mask, I am selfish? When I wear a mask that reduces MY oxygen levels and ability to think properly, that is not proven to protect myself or others, why is that selfish? I can think of a whole lot of other things that sound “selfish” but we aren’t being forced to do them. Do you still think it is only about public health? Or could it be about compliance?

You’ve all heard of Pavlov and operant conditioning, right? People (and animals) can be trained into believing and reacting to something that isn’t even what they originally thought they were reacting to. All it takes is trained compliance. So why does the government want us to be compliant? That is a good question, and I hope each of you have asked yourself that. Why did Nazi Germany require all Jews to wear a red Star of David on their clothing? Why did they require good and law abiding citizens to report when Jews didn’t wear one? Because they were TOLD it was for the good of their state. And the general public believed it. Is it possible that we are falling for something similar? Citizens of Germany truly thought that they were protecting the health and well-being of their country, when instead they were essentially sentencing millions of Jews (and their fellow citizens – Jew or not) to death. It started with something small – like mandatory Star of David wearing on clothing. And slowly they built up those mandates until it was too late. After they train us to comply and wear a mask, isolate ourselves away from loved ones and others that may be free thinkers, force businesses to close and jobs to be lost, schools to close, will they force compliance on a vaccine that is nowhere near ready for mass production and deliverance? Again – evidence-based practice? It is not about COVID-19. Have you figured that out yet? The government is not looking out for everyone’s health right now, and if masks worked, they would provide us with heavy duty gas masks, right? Have you figured out that it is not about our health yet? If it were, they would be using sound science and research that everyone else has to live up to except them. I’m training to become a speech therapist, not a medical doctor, yet my code of ethics is higher than what they are mandating. And before you say that desperate times call for desperate measures, I’m not sure a virus that has a 97% recovery rate for the majority of individuals that contract it is desperate times. In fact, I’m not even sure that constitutes as a technical “pandemic,” at least not without calling the common cold, childhood cancer, autism and other medical diagnosis a pandemic as well. Seriously. Please tell me that you have considered all these things already.

But the numbers!! The numbers are going up, right? I’d say that is hard to say. Who is reporting the numbers? The mass media? Please refer to my previous posts for that. If a person has cancer and is already in the hospital dying of cancer and then gets COVID-19, did he die of cancer, or COVID-19? If a person with COVID-19 falls off of a 10 ft ladder and dies, did he die from the fall, or COVID-19? These are real cases!! Please look them up. If a person can get tested 4 times at different testing centers on the same day and two of those tests come back positive and two come back negative, which test result is correct? And are they counting both of those positive tests for the same person as one result? Or two? Or did we forget the evidence-based practice when creating coronavirus testing kits as well? OH, you mean the majority of rushed testing kits that test for any of 30+ strains of coronavirus that have been around forever and cause the common cold? You mean those tests can’t always decipher if it is regular coronavirus or COVID-19 that you are testing positive for? Is that why some who test positive have NO symptoms, and others have life-threatening complications? I’m just trying to ask the questions we should all be asking instead of just complying with something that has not been based on any kind of sound research or clinical evidence. And we are falling for it! Is there at least a little bit of doubt that something is not right in this situation? In a court of law we have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt… and as far as I’m concerned there are a lot of doubts stacking up here. Could there be a different agenda? Could there be a reason why compliance is the goal and not public health and safety? Of course. Have you learned anything from our history?

I’ve mentioned this in a previous post, but where is the pro-choice movement on this issue? As a woman especially, I have the right to choose what I do with my body, right? Even if it harms the health or even kills an unborn human baby. Right? It is my choice to decide what I do with my body and when. Then why do I not have the right to choose if I wear a mask or not? Especially if it has not been proven to increase the health of those around me? And who is fighting for all of those living unborn babies and their health and safety?

And if it is my responsibility to protect the health and safety of everyone else around me, then I choose to keep a firearm on me at all times. Why? Because you might need to be saved from certain death when someone tries to harm or kill you. That is my responsibility, right?

And why isn’t everyone taking in homeless people who have no protections against COVID-19? If everyone else’s health is the priority and the motive behind wearing masks, then why aren’t government officials requiring we wear masks taking homeless people into their own homes and providing them an opportunity to bathe and sanitize and stay out of the elements so they don’t contract COVID-19 or give it to anyone else?

And do you ever wonder if we would know that we are in a pandemic if the media hadn’t told us? Are people dropping dead around us left and right? Are 90% of its victims losing their battle? Or is there a 97% recovery rate?

I’m just saying that we need to look closer at the motives and the reason they want us to comply. We need to demand that science back up their claims, and NOT science from the companies that are profiting the most from COVID-19 (that is called BIAS). We need to understand that there is definitely reasonable doubt and according to our own justice system, their argument would not hold up in court.

So why are we still complying? Why are we telling on those that aren’t complying? Why are we acting like our freedoms aren’t in the balance, and our way of life has not already been threatened and taken over? We are doing this willingly. What next? Concentration camps for the vulnerable to “protect” them? When will we decide that enough is enough? Again, have we learned nothing from our history?

I haven’t been posting proof, because I feel that people are more likely to learn and understand if they do their own research and find out for themselves. But we are weary and I fear we are running out of time. But please, at least read the following segments of what make up the freedoms in our nation:

Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

Constitutional Amendment 14 section 1: “No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

So again I ask, is my right to breathe an unalienable right? What about my right to provide for my family? I think so, otherwise, what is the point?

When I was in high school, my friend and I chose the “Pro Life” argument side for our senior paper and debate. We did so much research that we had a stack full of note cards of references and quotes and facts. However, during the debate, and after finding out that my friend and I were more prepared and had more evidence to support our side, the “Pro Choice” team started attacking our characters and our religion and our heritage in a discriminatory way instead of providing evidence for their side of the argument. I learned a hard lesson that day – that even though you have facts and research on your side, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the other side will listen, no matter how lacking they are in their information and facts. My point is, when did it become okay to attack people for having opposing ideas? And more importantly today, when did it become okay to sensor them by preventing them to even say or present their opposing ideas and research and facts in the first place? Everyone in that classroom agreed that my friend and I won the debate that day – however, not a single person in that room said they would change their mind about their position on the matter. And that’s okay. I wasn’t expecting to change anyone’s mind. I was however expecting people to think about what we presented and respect the research and facts  – because if we aren’t basing our actions and possible change on truth, then what are we basing it on?

I’ve been thinking a lot about forced compliance and censorship and the shutting down of opposing ideas recently. It is a fine line that big media is playing right now – pretending to represent both sides fairly, limiting the influence of opposing arguments, and downright making up false negative narratives about people with opposing ideas so that they can falsely discredit them. Did you know that in 2013 one of our US presidents legalized the use of propaganda on the citizens of the United States? You can read it for yourself in HR 4310. And for some reason, everyone missed the significance of that. And what happened to all of my friends that are “Pro Choice”? The ones that said I have the right to choose what I do with my own body – oh, except if I want to choose not to wear a mask during the plandemic. Right. Remember that the people who are trying to influence popular opinion in their favor own the major news, media and social media stations? The bias is overwhelming, unjust and un-American. Just consider these quotes from Nazi Germany (Hitler and his Reich Minister of Propaganda): 

“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.” Adolf Hitler.

“All propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach.” Adolf Hitler

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels

“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.” Joseph Goebbels

“Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way round, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise.” Adolf Hitler

So let’s change focus for a bit and remember why freedom of speech and freedom in general is something worth fighting for. Before we all came to earth, our spirits lived in Heaven with God. There were two plans offered. Satan wanted to force all the children of God to comply (forced compliance – sound familiar?) and to believe. Jesus wanted every child of God to choose for him or herself and then provide a Savior knowing that they would make mistakes. The first plan does not allow room for any growth or progression. If you are forced to do something, then you really aren’t building your character by having to weigh the pros and cons and deciding for yourself, learning, and continually having to work on that growth and progress. And what is the whole purpose of our existence? To progress. That’s why progress is “damned” when you can no longer move forward.

As a parent I can tell you that it is hard to watch my children stumble and make mistakes. It is hard to work tirelessly to teach them what they should do, and then step back and let them choose for themselves. When learning to walk, it is often hard to watch our children fall. But if we didn’t give them the opportunity to fall, then they wouldn’t become the strong, typically developing children that they need to become so that they can continue to learn and grow. We can’t have it both ways. We can’t say we want our children to grow up strong and physically able, and also say, no, I will always carry them and make all of their decisions for them so that they will never fall. It is just something that comes with the territory of growth – the opportunity to fall – make mistakes – choose the less ideal path – get hurt along the way. Now let’s think about this in terms of human rights, freedoms and government overstepping.

One mentality says that because one person drank and drove, causing an accident, no one can ever drink alcohol anymore because they might drive and cause an accident – thus controlling the possibility of that initial choice. The other mentality is that you have the ability to choose if you drink, however if there is driving and an accident involved, then you will have consequences. (The same two sides could go for owning a firearm, or forcing condom use because it might protect the other person from pregnancy or an STD, or choosing to wear a mask in public or not). Learning and growth isn’t for the faint of heart, and when you involve an entire society of individuals that have the opportunity to make their own decisions it can be an extremely difficult thing to have to go through sometimes, especially when innocent people who are not involved in an individual’s initial decision, are harmed. But without that type of scenario, we cannot “prove” ourselves to God – we cannot progress and learn from our mistakes and repent and obtain forgiveness and then try to do better and make things better in the world. Can’t you see? Removing the option to make the mistake in the first place is not the way to achieve learning and growth, even though there may be casualties along the way. Our life right now is tragic and challenging and very ethically difficult at times, but this is the plan that Jesus endorsed – and in fact offered to sacrifice himself for. Why? Because this is the only way we can truly progress – line upon line and precept upon precept. “For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so…righteousness could not be brought to pass, nether wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad…” 2 Nephi 2:11. In other words, without opposition in all things, there would be no reason to prove ourselves. If there was only ever “happy” then we would never be “happy” because we would not have “sad” to compare it to. So ask yourself, what is the purpose of the media to shut down opposing ideas if not to force their agenda or propaganda on our society?

Yes it would seem easier to just eliminate the possibility of that error or lack of judgment or innocent bystander harm. It seems logical and like it would make everyone happy. But essentially, you would have to take away the rights of everyone, which would “damn” everyone’s progress, and when you can’t move forward you can’t find joy or true happiness. “And it must needs be that the devil should tempt the children of men, or they could not be agents unto themselves; for if they never should have bitter they could not know the sweet –” D&C 29:39. It is interesting to remember though, that we were never meant to have to endure this “growing season” on earth with our physical bodies on our own. Jesus Christ is and always will be there to lift us up, support us, and guide us when we seek His help. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,” John 8:32. Free from what? Free from sin and oppression and darkness.

So that brings us back to this question: Why has there been so much fearmongering by the media lately? Because when you cause widespread fear, and then “propose” the solution to that fear to be something in the people’s favor (or what seems to be in their favor), than people are more likely to go along with it. Have we learned nothing from our history? Oh yeah, those same elite own our textbook companies and invest in public education curriculum and the narrative of our history. Just for a refresher for anyone who wants to do their own research…

IF you think about it, if these things are removed or severely controlled, it is a lot easier to make the sheeple in a country comply with whatever you are wanting them to comply with for “the greater good of the state”:

1. Removing or severely limiting freedom of speech

2. Removing the right to bear arms and the right to protect your own family

3. Removing the ability to worship freely - many of our ancestors came here to get away from that!

4. Removing the freedom of the press (or overtaking it and slanting or changing the truth and pushing propaganda)

Seriously, have we learned nothing from our history? What was the narrative during WWII? And why did the people go along with it? Because they were told it was for the good of their state. So why do we herald those who stood up against it and saved lives heroes? Because they were able to figure out for themselves what was actually going on – and brave enough to stand up against it. And many lost their lives for doing so. Many think the United States could never fall into that category. All I can say to that is that for as long as there has been good, there has also been evil. Please be aware. Please research and find your own facts. I’m not asking you to change your position based on what I say or show you.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened,” Matthew 7: 7-8.

Please find an uncensored news and social media source and learn the facts before you blindly push an agenda that you don’t know about or the reason behind. If you need help finding resources that contain truth – please reach out. Sheeple are waking up and seeing what is going on – I mean really seeing. If you look hard enough, you will find truth. And let’s not forget the Holy Ghost who testifies of truth. If you see and truly ask, you can and will find the truth for yourself. You are not alone. We are not alone. I know that we are weary from everything that we see the media (including social media) telling us – so do your own research. You don’t hear the other side telling you that. You hear them saying to believe the narrative they are telling you. So please, for the sake of our freedoms and well-being, be brave, take a step back, and do your own research.

It’s not about party lines, because both have been infiltrated. It’s not about conspiracy theorists trying to cause fear. It’s about good versus evil, and what the media is telling us that is happening on the surface, when below the surface everything that we know and love is being held in balance.

I am neither eloquent nor really smart. But what I am is concerned, not just for our country, but for the human population as a whole. When you start to investigate – and I mean REALLY investigate, without the influence of big media or what people are saying on the surface, things start to become clear. I was recently reading about the Gadianton Robbers – the evil that caused both the destruction of the Jaredite Nation (Ether Chapter 8) and Nephite Nation (Helaman chapters 2 and 6) you can find these statements in the chapter headings: “Modern Gentiles are warned against the secret combination that will seek to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries,” and, “The robbers take over the Nephite government.” This unfortunately is not new to the human race. This has to do with the root of all evil and the lying, deceiving and cunning abilities of evil that will always be there until banished from this world.

I’ll preface this with the fact that I was very comfortable being one of the sheeple in the masses. I appreciated being told that all is well and that the illusion of everything around us is just what it seems on the surface. However, at some point I had to reconcile with myself that even if I just go by the people that I have met and interacted with in my small circle of human interaction, everything is not always as it seems on the surface. I don’t like to make scenes or incite conflict, so unfortunately the people who seem to be drawn to me are the ones that want to take advantage of me. I can relate personal experience after personal experience of people who I thought were good friends of mine, and how I found out the hard way that they didn’t care at all about me or my family – and because I was blinded by their charming and eloquent ways, my family and I have been blindsided, more than once. And I keep falling for it. So I can’t be the only one, right?

This morning I felt a call to speak up about it. Not a call from myself or my desire to make waves – because if it were up to me I would be more than happy to wait for others to feel the need to do that so I could sit back and observe in my little sheeple pasture. But today a higher power has opened my heart up to the possibility that I have a voice through written words, and that I needed to use it. Not something that I really wanted to hear at 4:30am this morning. But nonetheless, here I am, trusting that people have the right to know that all is not well. They have the right to know that what is going on will affect them on such a basic freedom level – not if – but when – which means EVERYTHING is at stake.

First of all, I know you are asking what makes me think that my eyes have been more opened than your eyes. And I can tell you, the skeptical passive peacemaker that I am was not super open to the idea that there were deep and dark forces acting below the surface. Like I made mention to above, people and institutions have really screwed me and my family over the last several years, and hoping that the rest of the world is not like that just doesn’t make sense. People are subject to human fallacies. And people are drawn to power and security and wealth. No matter my desire to believe that all people are generally good and have good intentions, I know for a fact that that is not true. And people would rather be told that all is well rather than know that really scary and evil things could be going on right below our noses. Case in point, also true.

My eye openness started with “conspiracy theories,” a term coined by the CIA in the 1960’s, and with a negative connotation attached to it. Conspiracy theories weren’t considered negative until then. In fact, conspiracy theories have been the impetus for the search for answers and solutions for a long time. We’ve probably all heard our fair share of conspiracy theories, and think that the people who come up with them are crazy, and I used to think that too. Until I started to do my own research. There is so much public information out there, but there are very few means whereby to get that information – the main source being the mainstream media – conglomerates that all work together and who are all owned by the same high powered and wealthy individuals – yep – every single major news station. Could they possibly all have the same agenda? Absolutely. The day I learned that Google was possibly biased and maybe corrupt, I didn’t want to believe it. Why? Because that would make my life more complicated. That would make me have to think harder and react smarter. Why would certain search topics be diverted to certain media responses that all said the same thing? Why were all dissenting arguments being held at bay and when one may have surfaced, the same mainstream media discredited it as soon as it did? And to think that my first major was journalism. Something about focusing on the facts to tell stories resonated deeply with me. But now I’m glad I changed my major. I feel bad for those “journalists” that feel like they are making a difference out there. Instead, they are pushing someone else’s agenda.

It’s a hard pill to swallow. It is a hard idea and concept to accept – that these major corporations don’t have our best interests in mind – but rather their own? Because if that is true, than really, who can we trust? The mainstream media rules the airwaves and the American people hang on their every word, obvious bias or not, because they are supposed to be impartial and based on facts and they are our sources of legitimate information, right? Have we been that conditioned that we don’t even see it? Yes.

Over the last few months I’ve watched news stations from other countries around the world and realized how their citizens are shown news stories that we aren’t. Other countries have been rioting in their streets to get the citizens of the United States of America’s attention because most of them are fighting for their freedoms and families and have already been down the road that our country is currently trying to go down. They are pleading for us to see, really see what is going on and to quit pretending that everything is going to be okay because big companies that we’ve grown to love and trust have our best interests in mind. Do you see the problem with that? If I, in my 42 years of life have encountered multiple people who have sought to physically, emotionally and spiritually abuse and harm me and my family – some succeeding in a very painful way, then why do I trust extremely powerful and wealthy people who couldn’t have made it to the top without stepping on a few of the little guy’s toes on the way? Why are people in other countries rioting to get our attention, only for our news sources not to cover it? And why are their news stations reporting on things that are happening in the United States that we NEVER see on our news stations here? Then you have to wonder what they might have to hide. Do I have your attention yet?

The rabbit hole is long and deep and includes several public cover-ups that have been buried so deep in the media that they are either impossible to find, or are made to look like crazy people invented them. I had to take this rabbit hole in very tiny baby steps. It is heart wrenching and disgusting and anger inducing, the amount of lies and fabrications that we have been fed. It is overwhelming to say the least. Why? Because we have been conditioned to think that the possibility of deception is outrageous, essentially questioning our own sanity for even stepping through this rabbit hole and the possibility of everything that it opens up to us. But seriously. Our freedom of speech is hanging by a thread. Social media outlets that are also owned by these same elite media owners have been silencing specific voices for a long time now – and it has been more obvious than not recently. We literally have no where to turn to get REAL news and information that has not been filtered, adjusted, and even completely fabricated in some way.

But since going through that rabbit hole and swallowing the “red pill” it is so obvious that the truth has been surrounding us this whole time – and I see it regularly now! We’ve just been force-fed lies for so long that that was and is our norm. It hurts to think how many innocent people that have realized this sooner than me, who have been silenced for trying to help the rest of us see – it seems impossible. It also scares me, but I feel like I can’t be part of that silent heard of sheeple that aren’t going to take a stand and demand better, demand honesty and transparency and human decency – and not because it is politically correct or because we want our friends to see us backing a cause that passionately moves us – but because it is the right thing to do. And honestly, I’m not sure I believe in everything that I have since learned, but I do believe in some of it – which is enough to make me question all of it. Vaccines – and the epidemic of autism in our country right now. The CIA and projects/programs used AGAINST the American people. Gun control and communist ties. An outdated education and higher education system that is failing our children. Child sex-trafficking and the elite, Hollywood, and satanic rituals. The fake news - all bought and paid for. Fluoride – a poison – mandated to be in our drinking water. Big pharma and their control of medical treatments and studies. Lobbying and corruption in congress. The truth behind the Black Lives Matter campaign. Different political parties and their link to slavery. What is happening to the Jewish people in New York City right now?! Immigration and the truth of the wall. COVID-19 and the many doctors that have come out about the plandemic – causing government to overstep and force mandates on us that are unconstitutional. Unemployment. Political and community chaos. Government bureaucracy. A plethora of agencies to help individuals and families with no real ability to actually help those in need. Due process that has been ignored or twisted. Government simulations of things that are happening right now. Population control. The truth (or falsehood) about global warming and airplane contrails. The list goes on and though I used to think that people who brought all of this up were crazy and had nothing better to do with their time than find things to bicker and make crazy assumptions about – and some may be those people – I know now that it runs deeper than that, and many of the people behind them are ordinary people who have truth they are trying to share.

There are evil forces at work here. Isaiah 5: 20 says “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” We’ve all been given the ability to think and act for ourselves. We’ve been given eyes to see and ears to hear. Now we just need to make sure that we are looking at and hearing the things that aren’t tainted with bias, or complete lies. And how do we do that in this day and age when Google is supposed to know everything, and finding information without Google is extremely difficult? Well, accepting the fact that we may not be able to trust Google and the other major media outlets that rule the free world is a start. Doubting that everyone has your best interest in mind is a start. Understanding that good may be shown to us as evil and evil may be shown to us as good is a start. Maybe asking for discernment from God, and accepting the answers that are given, no matter how hard to swallow. Maybe deciding that you will no longer stand by and watch while evil happens right before you, even though hidden. And maybe making a decision to say something or stand up for something or fight for something that you want to preserve for yourself and your children. And again, not because it is the most recent fad or tag line. But because you truly care about justice and freedom and our way of life. This path will not be easy, but really, is there any other way? Is there any other way to maintain our freedoms – whichever are most sacred to you – than to fight against those who are trying to take those freedoms away in such a sleek and smooth manner to make us think that there is nothing wrong with our system and the people involved with it?

If the Nephite and Jaredite nations had taken a deeper look and had been outraged by what they saw or failed to see, would they have fought for their freedoms and their families a little harder? Getting too comfortable – and accepting everything at face value even knowing that there is always a deeper root or cause - is when we need to worry. We can’t afford to be complacent any longer.

And again, it is not about political party or any specific charge or group. It is about our lives and freedoms. It is about the steps and chaos that have led every socialist and communist country down their paths, taking the sheeple and their needs and concerns and ideas out of every equation, until they no longer have a voice at all. HAVE WE NOT LEARNED ANYTHING FROM OUR HISTORY? Oh yeah, probably not – because our textbooks are also written and owned by the same elite and media moguls that are feeding us lies.

I believe most of us are good people and have a general desire to do good and not harm. I believe that we have been fooled into thinking that there is nothing sinister going on. I believe that we are all in the same boat, meaning that we all have to come to an understanding on our own about what is happening all around us. We’ve already been told that what caused the destruction of ancient civilizations is threatening modern day governments. I don’t think it is anything different. It is pure evil – orchestrated by Satan himself – and his rituals and methods that have never left. Those who participate have just gotten very good at being two-faced.

So if everything is so corrupt, how do we make a difference? We make a difference one person at a time. As you decide that you no longer want to be a sheeple, and you make yourself aware and do your own research instead of depending on others to do it for you, you are starting to make a difference. I don’t have all of the answers, but I do know that normal people like us who care about our future can do something. They can write a blog post, share with their friends and family, and stand up for what’s right no matter the backlash. Because that is what they want. They want to instill fear and chaos and bully us into submission – whether we are aware of what they are doing or not! They already track our every move, sensor our every attempt to bring truth to light, and shame us when we finally get close to finding out what is really happening. How much worse could it get?

Haters will hate, but I’m trying to use my voice while I still can – with God’s encouragement. Our founding fathers fought tooth and nail to create this great nation and to provide a place where human rights and freedoms are more important than wealth and power. That has to mean something. I’m not interested in contending with those who have not already searched and figured things out on their own yet – if all of your “facts” can only be traced back to the media and whatever spin on the truth benefits them the most, then I suggest you double check those facts with non-media sources. The truth is out there and I urge you to do your own research and find out for yourself. If you look hard enough, you will find it. 

When you are 19 years-old, healthy and happy, the last thing you expect to hear is that you have a 50% chance of inheriting a degenerative brain disease. Most people think about inheriting money, or blue eyes. Not me. Well, yes, me too. But it’s kind of hard to think about, let alone appreciate that kind of inheritance, when you are thinking about the possibility of inheriting the crude ability of becoming a vegetable right around middle-age.
Huntington’s Disease. It’s like having Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, psychological disorders, and depression (both clinically and because of loss of brain cells), all at the same time, and progressively getting worse over time. They call someone like me, with an affected parent, “at risk”. And not surprisingly, those who are at risk and get the genetic testing done to tell them whether or not they have a very likely chance or not of starting symptoms around middle age, and test positive, have a high rate of suicide. After seeing a parent go through the progressive brain disease, the last thing you can cope with and handle is the fact that you will end up the same way. It kind of makes you appreciate inheriting thick ankles, or moles, or small breasts.
It is difficult to explain what goes through your head when your father comes back from rigorous neurological and psychological testing to figure out what is wrong with him, only to come back and explain that he has a disease that will take over both his mind and body before he is 40, and that by the way, you also have a 50% chance of inheriting it from him. Fifty percent. That’s like flipping a coin, and bam! You have Huntington’s Disease.
Surprisingly it wasn’t the outward appearance of the disease that scared us so much in my dad. He would have uncontrollable “chorea” movements, or his limbs would lash out and then become rigid for a while, and he would eventually have to use a cane to walk. But that was unnervingly natural and understandable. What we weren’t prepared for was the loss of his inhibitions, or his ability to comprehend consequences, and basic right and wrong. He did things that we never would have imagined that our virtuous, honorable, loving and kind father could have done. He was a completely different person, let alone the father who had been my knight in shining armor. It was both shocking and emotionally overwhelming to comprehend that this was our new reality, the whole while the very real possibility of me becoming the same anomaly in the future heavy on my mind.
I think that ignorance saved me at first. I didn’t quite understand the magnitude of my situation and what it meant for my future. Not to mention my biological brother and sister and what it could mean for them as well. But all of the sudden I started wondering if it was worth it to continue paying for my college education, if I should get married and have children – possibly passing it on to them. I wondered if I was taking enough pictures and writing in my journal enough to remember my memories that could be taken from me. I wondered if every twitch of my muscles was the start of a soon to be devastating decline in my muscle control or if every angry outburst was the beginning of many uncontrollable future ones. At nineteen, at the point where I was just starting to figure out my life and what to do with it, I became frozen in a terrifying land of “what if’s”.
And of course you expect that you will be able to handle things. Everything would be okay. You have your faith, your family, and your friends. But then the fear that came, only after watching my dad’s symptoms increase exponentially, was disconcerting. That is when reality hit hard.Why me, right? Why my dad, my family? I was not strong enough to fight this let alone fight it well. I didn’t know how to become that pillar of strength my mom needed, my siblings needed, my soon to be fiancé needed. Not to mention my 5 younger adopted siblings, 3 of which have disabilities and challenges of their own to face every day. How was I going to overcome the distressing chill of despair that was snaking its way around my heart and my consciousness? How does one come to terms with the fact that their life could be cut short? But then knowing that even before that, their quality of life will decrease continuously until their dying brain can no longer keep them alive. And all of this while oblivious to their loved one’s sacrifices in caring for them, and heartache over their hurtful and flippant behavior. Suddenly I felt like I was in a bad, sad ending, drama movie.
So the next issue was whether or not to be tested. But does anyone ever really want to know that they have a ticking time bomb inside their head that will go off at an unknown time in the prime of their life? What kind of life would that be? One of constant worry and anxiety? But on the other hand, knowing that you don’t have it would bring peace and relief. But just like that coin, it could land on heads, and then knowing you do have it and symptoms will come, would probably be unbearable to live with. With marriage and children in the near future, would I change my life decisions if I knew that I had it?
The short answer is no. The long answer, in all honesty, was more like a yes. I’d like to think that it wouldn’t affect my life decisions to that extent, but when it really came down to it, I knew that it would. Besides, it would be irresponsible for me to not take it into consideration, wouldn’t it? Could I live with myself knowing that my future husband not only had to care for me, but also our child or children if we all had Huntington’s Disease? Could I live with myself knowing that I cursed my child with the same foreboding fate by bringing him into this world knowing that just a flip of a coin could determine that he would have this devastating disease too? I was embarrassed to realize that when faced with an impossible decision, selfishness won out. I had to know. I had to have that knowledge that I convinced myself would give me power or some semblance of control in this sordid situation. But as it turns out, genetics testing was just the beginning in this adventure we call life. 
I can’t explain the wave of deliverance that washed over me when my brother and sister and I all tested negative. Ironically, we had beaten the coin toss odds, the three of us. For some reason we were spared that one hardship in this journey. Now I find myself asking, “why me”? Why was I spared, and not my dad? I mean, isn’t it enough that he has hemophilia (inherited from his mom)? Why did he also have to inherit Huntington’s Disease from his dad? I’m not sure when, but eventually I also had to come to terms with the fact that yes, it’s okay that I don’t have Huntington’s Disease. 
What I’ve learned is that my family was given this experience in life for some reason, and we needed to embrace it for what it was: an unfortunate circumstance that could bring us together, or pull us apart - an opportunity to see what our true characters are made of. No one wants to live with “what if’s,” but I can tell you most assuredly, that knowledge can be power, but also sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
