I began writing professionally while wrapping my Ph.D. in Modern American Literature at Trinity College, Dublin. Nuno Bernardo and Triona Campbell, co-founders of beActive Media, invited me to collaborate with them on several transmedia projects, including the third series of the Aisling's Diary franchise and the coming of age rom-com Made with Love (now in pre-production as a feature film).

At present I am drafting an independent novel which explores regionalism in the United States. My critical monograph, The Church Without the Church: Desert Orthodoxy in Flannery O'Connor's 'Dear Old Dirty Southland,' is forthcoming by way of Mercer University Press, Spring/Summer 2015. ...more
