Jean Stanberry has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pencil. She published her first work, a poem when she was just seven years old. Her lifelong ambition was to become a published author.

A life changing tragedy and a stay in Scotland only cemented her desire to write. When Jean returned to the states she finished her education, getting a bachelor's degree in Business/Finance and eventually getting her bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Raising a family didn't leave Jean much time to pursue her love of writing, but now that both her children are grown she tries to write, at least, two or three days a week.

Jean works full time as a surgical nurse and enjoys writing whenever she has free time. She loves living and playing in the Rock

I love how Austen develops the characters and her ability to take us through a wide range of emotions that so many relationships go through and how our own personalities, fears and preconceived notions can nearly ruin what could be, a perfect match. I also adore the fact that Darcy was not daunted at all by Elizabeth's strong will, which in that time period was not a quality men looked for in a woman.(less)
