Wil Guilfoyle is a writer, filmmaker, producer and publisher based in the Pacific Northwest. His fiction explores consciousness, free will, and what it means to be human in a world increasingly shaped by technology. His work has appeared on slowgoer.com and in independent publications.

He is the founder of SlowGoer Press, an independent imprint based in Washington state, which first published his essay, “The Unmarked Default: How Western Religion Wrote Dominator Hierarchy Into the Source Code of Reality.” The essay points out how patriarchy is an unnatural construct that is responsible for thousands of years of avoidable human suffering and the degradation of the biosphere.
