Knowing what to say when we pray so that we see results is so very important. Words have power. Isn’t that what the Bible says? Proverbs says that death and life are in the power of our tongues. We have to watch the words that come out of our mouth when we pray to God. That’s why we are here and we’ll have more information for you shortly. God bless.

The glory of God saturates the Bible. The Rabbinical word “shekinah” referred to, directly or indirectly, the dwelling, glory, presence and light of God. While the word is not in the Bible, the concept is found throughout.

All these concepts are intricately woven together in the Lord. The glory can’t exist without God. He’s majestic and eternal and those who obey his word glorify the Lord. We must have his presence dwelling in us or we can’t survive spiritually.

The Israelites were led through the wilderness by God’s presence in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night (Exodus 13:21-22). God affirmed the covenant with Israel after giving the Law with glory and fire (Exodus 24:15-18).

In the Tabernacle, God dwelt among them (Exodus 25:8; 40:34-38) and they beheld his glory in a very powerful way. In the days of Samuel, God told Israel to battle the Philistines and the glory of God terrified their enemies (1 Samuel 4:1-8).

The glory of God and the light are omnipresent in Scripture. God said, “Let there be light” in the creation (Genesis 1:3). God is light, or goodness, containing no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).

Everything about God is glorious. His throne (Revelation 4-5) and his presence in heaven are beyond human comprehension (Revelation 15:8). Those who walk there do so in his light (Revelation 21:22-24).

The concept of the shekinah, as defined above, comes to bear with Christ who is God dwelling with man (Matthew 1:23).

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9, NKJV).

This is why we must be immersed into Christ to be saved (Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Galatians 3:27). All spiritual blessings are found in Christ because they can’t exist outside of God (Ephesians 1:3).

Only God’s people dwell in the Lord and his glory and presence are always there. Accordingly, we must be transformed to allow us to see and live in this new universe (Romans 12:1-2). When we fill ourselves with God (Ephesians 3:14-21), we see heaven and we’re loosened from our fleshly prison.
