I have a family fantasy series called GEB, which was begun with my late friend, Dave McRae.
He wanted a series which was created with the help and participation of the community! People can draw pictures (kids, or grown ups, crayons or pen) and submit them, they can participate in the development of the island, or even the story! Shaftoe doesn't have to think very long. The memories are still as fresh as last night's eleventh nighmare: ten plucky Nips in Suicide Charge!
"Just kill the one with the sword first."
"Ah," Reagan says, raising his waxed and penciled eyebrows, and cocking his pompadour in Shaftoe's direction. "Smarrrt--you target them because they're the officers, right?"
"No, fuckhead!" Shaftoe yells. "You kill 'em because they've got fucking swords! You ever had anyone running at you waving a fucking sword?”

Yup ^_^ it's a really good series but it's kind of complex. It's about wild cats, not like lions or tigers but like Feral(sp) cats. hehe I could probably tell you every thing there is to know about the books but you should reed them ;)
