I taught at colleges and universities in the UK, Libya and Nigeria before joining the Middle East oil industry. Arabian Night Patrol draws on my experience of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during the first Gulf War, the genesis of al Qaeda and the subsequent invasion of Iraq.
I have written several textbooks and business books but now devote my time to writing fiction. Arabian Night Patrol is the first novel in a trilogy tracing the genesis and development of the War on Terror.
