Marc de Faoite was born in Dublin, spent fifteen years in Malaysia, and currently lives at the foot of the French Alps. His short stories and articles have been published both in print and online. Tropical Madness, a collection of his short stories, was longlisted for the 2014 Frank O’Connor International Short Story Prize. Lime Pickled and Other Stories was published in 2023.

This seemed shorter than the previous books in the series. In any case it certainly picked up the pace. I guess I will have to patiently wait for the next translations.

This started off quite funny, but got decidedly less funny over time. A disturbing and quirky trip through a disturbed person's mind, but very, very well done. If you like it weird, this might work for you. ...more
