Pendulum Swings
If you dare, step into the world of "Pendulum Swings," where rain-soaked streets echo with the footsteps of both humans and robots, and secrets lurk in every shadow. Meet Vik Kasper, a weathered wooden private detective whose luck has long abandoned him, much like the sun in the perpetually stormy city of Pendulum.
In this gritty tale, Vik Kasper faces a choice that could change the course of his life. A knock on the door and a trivial case of a missing scientist hurls him into a web of conspiracy and danger, pitting him against the enigmatic and malevolent forces that rule the city.
As Vik delves deeper into the investigation, he discovers that the roots of this mystery run far deeper than he could have ever imagined. The puzzle of a missing scientist unravels to reveal a tapestry of deception, leading him to question the very nature of reality itself. With each twist and turn, the line between truth and illusion blurs, and Vik must navigate a treacherous path deeper and deeper into the labyrinth of the Pendulum.

your favorite ending of a book
so, fiends and sinners, my question to you for the day would be the following: what is your favorite ending of a book that has left you, well, shaken not stirred. For me, I will probably select the novel by Alfred Bester Stars My Destination. Just such an amazing character arc that ends with a finale worth reading and re-reading. An honorable mention is deserved by Stephen King's Tommyknockers... so very well done! Looking forward to hearing your choices!

Kindle countdown deal for The Circle Of...
I don't know how successful it will be, but I have launched a kindle countdown deal for my new novel The Circle Of... which is supposed to breathe life into what has been a pretty lackluster month in sales (mildly speaking)... :) so, if anyone wants to pick up a copy, here is the long-suffering, often shared, even more often ignored link:

The Circle Of... is out :)
The Circle Of...
I have been writing this novel for something like six months but the idea first came over a year ago... the idea was for a story within a story and a reality more unbelievable than the dreamland. In the core of the book are the themes that fascinate me and are weaved through all of my works... identity, free choice versus fate, discovery and self-discovery. The story is set in the same world as my other works. Its spiritual prequel is
The Uncertainty Consolation, which is a very different take on the whole space exploration topic. The works that inspired me are many and the genre range is also broad... The honorable mentions go to Harry Harrison, Raymnond Chandler, Joseph Heller, Douglas Adams and Kurt Vonnegut.
The book is a first person narration and is part satire, part space adventure, part dark comedy, part a relationship drama and also contains numerous references to creatures known as centipede pandas.
It would be cool to discuss the book here so if you have any questions, it would be my pleasure to address them :)
