Broken SEAL on Amazon

BrokenSEAL-1333x2000

NEW RELEASE!!

Broken SEAL is now available exclusively on Amazon, and FREE for KindleUnlimited subscribers!

This is a spin-off series from the Willow Springs Ranch series, and follows Cliff and Ryan from Cliff’s Edge to San Diego, where they will work with Draco Kincaid.

Here’s the description:

When former Navy SEAL Draco Kincaid is cut down in a hail of gunfire, he thinks he’s lost everything: his friend, his club, his legs. Strapped to a chair and unable to separate the nightmares of his past from those of his present, Draco must learn to depend on others before the crack in his iron will plays into a killer’s hand and he loses more that he ever thought possible.

With the arrogance of youth, Noah Middlebrooks believes time can heal old wounds, until his missing brother turns up dead at a sex club in California. Now the sick bastard whose games were responsible for his brother’s untimely death needs to explain what happened—then pay for his crime. Burning his final bridge at work, Noah heads to San Diego. With no job and no more family, there isn’t anything left to lose.

Regret and retribution put them on a collision course of self-destruction, but nothing can prepare either man for the life-altering impact of their first meeting. As a slow simmer of attraction builds in spite of their best intentions, both men must come to terms with the past or risk any chance of a future.

Altered States Volume I

AS-Compilation1-800x1200

This boxed set contains the Prequel, plus books one and two of the bestselling M/M Urban Fantasy by Laura Harner and T.A. Webb. Warning: This is an erotic urban fantasy. In this series the vampires don’t sparkle, werewolves kill, and the men sometimes have sex. With each other.

Altered States

New Orleans Police Detective Sam Garrett can’t believe his bad luck when he’s assigned to investigate a string of gay-bashings turned deadly in the French Quarter. Especially when he realizes Travis Boudreaux, his new, hot, and most-likely-straight partner, plans to use him as bait. The worst part? They’ve got no back-up because the rest of the city is preoccupied by another series of killings — the victims drained of blood.

Deep Blues Goodbye

The world might not have been ready for vampires when NOPD Detective Travis Boudreaux had the bad taste to sit up at his own funeral, but two years later, the new cause célèbre is civil rights for preternatural beings and most humans are on the bandwagon. Except whoever is killing vampires and wannabes.

Detective Sam Garrett hates all things preternatural. Having your undead partner try to make you his first meal will do that to a guy. One final screw-up gets Sam banished to the Paranormal Criminal Investigations Unit—the Odd Squad—under the oversight of Detective Danny Burkette.

Now it’s up to Burkette to work with Garrett by day and Boudreaux by night as they follow a trail of clues that leads from the historic cemeteries of New Orleans to the bayous of southern Louisiana. Under the all-too-interested gaze of a Master vampire and the local werewolf pack Alpha, they discover some lessons in life—and death—take longer to learn…and not all second chances are created equal.

Deadly Shades of Gold

“Wolf or vamp? Decide. It has to be now.” Those were the last words Sam Garrett ever heard—as a human. Now on the para side of normal, the NOPD slammed the proverbial door on his career.

Travis Boudreaux knows exactly how his former partner feels—but when some doors close, the golden window of opportunity opens. Crimes against supernaturals require a new and different approach, and once the Feds show up, the Odd Squad isn’t the only law enforcement game in town.

After a revenge-seeking vampire creates deadly havoc, the new agent-in-charge is on a recruiting mission—and he’s more than ready to fight fire with fire. What do you get when you mix old friends, new enemies, and a license to kill?

Pure dynamite.

BBQ in Winter

Grill-side

When I lived at the Grand Canyon, and spent most of the winter covered in snow, I still loved to stoke up the grill or smoker and cook a pile of ribs.

One of the first purchases I made for my new house down here in Fort Mohave was a new BBQ. I admit it—I am a serious BBQ hound. I surfed online and in the local stores until I found the grill the fit me best. Because of course I really needed a ginormous rotisserie grill, right?

For years I owned a dual grill, with propane on one side and charcoal on the other. Love a good mesquite charcoal to cook ribs or chicken, but I’m not such a purist that I would refuse to use propane—I think both have their uses and both taste great.

My new house has piped in natural gas, though. Talk about a bonus! I will never again run out of propane halfway through cooking, or have to haul out the heavy canisters or lug in the 50 pound bags of charcoal and hardwood.

I use my grill for anything and everything. I make my own barbecue sauce, too—but I don’t use it for myself—too many carbs for me. Burgers, steaks, pizza, game hens on the rotisserie, the Christmas ham, prime rib, you name it. Yum.

Today’s menu is grilled chicken for lunch and burgers for dinner. Doesn’t get much better than that—well, unless it came with a Keurig attachment!

What about you? Do you barbecue in winter?

Laura
