Chasing Clarity
Hello everyone,
I am happy to say that my second solo novel was released on October 8th 2015. It is called Chasing Clarity. Today begins my blog tour. I wanted to take the time to thank all of the amazing authors and friends who extended an invitation to me. I hope you will come along with me as each day beginning today I will be sharing more about my newest book and myself. Thank you all!
What happens when you lose the person most important to you and are left to pick up the pieces?
Mia Gerard had always wanted to be a trained dancer yet she has just lost the love of her life in a tragic accident. Leo Dancy was her best friend and soul mate. As she tries to deal with losing him, she finds his absence unbearable and she feels lost without him.
But then a great opportunity arises for Mia that she just can’t turn down.
She is accepted into the New York Dance Academy of performing arts.
At first she is overwhelmed but once she gets there she begins to allow herself to heal.
This is when she comes across Henry Watson a painter with aspirations of acquiring his own exhibit one day. While she ponders her feelings for Henry, will she be too late? or will she find the clarity she needs and chase after him?

Bio:
Author Sylvia Stein began her path to writing when she joined the Writer’s Group on Linked in 750 in 2012 and she also started to connect with other authors through the World Literary Café. She continued her journey by creating short stories, which were published, in the Giant tales Anthology series. While obtaining her Masters degree at Southern New Hampshire University online author Stein built a solid foundation with her colleagues who encouraged her to continue on her writing. That’s when Closure was born. With the help of her editor Closure grew from a short story to a full novella that Author Stein is excited to share. Her First Debut Novel came in July 31, 2014 entitled, Closure and now she has just released her first YA called Chasing Clarity out October 5th 2015 . “ This is the first of many to come.”

Author Note:
This book began its journey in 2013 for the National Novel Month but the idea for this book began in July of this same year. You know it is amazing how one character from a show can impact so much of my life and it did when I awoke to the tragic news of his death. It was something so profound and for me it felt like losing a part of my family. I thought about the pain and hurt it caused those he loved and this is when Chasing Clarity was born. However I did not want to write his story. It was more about bringing the theme of love and loss and how my main character Mia will try to overcome the tragic obstacles and be able to find a purpose and pursue on her dreams. I know friends who are like family that have been through this type of pain and my hope is that Mia’s story will help in the healing process of their own hearts.

Exciting News
Hello Everyone,
Thanks to everyone for supporting my page! My name is Sylvia Stein, and I just wanted to say what an exciting year it has been! I was able to publish two anthologies with my LinkedIn Writers 750 Group.
The first anthology is entitled, Justice for Ana it can be found in the book Giant Tales Beyond The Mystic Doors and the second Anthology is entitled, Mad about Science and this can be found in the book Giant Tales from The Misty Swamp. You can find them on amazon. I highly recommend these books for people on the go!
As much as I loved participating in the anthologies, I have also been hard at work preparing my own novels for publication. I am thrilled to share some very exciting news. For the past 10 months I have been working on my first solo novella entitled, Closure.
This story began in one of my writing classes that I was taking at Southern New Hampshire University for my Master’s in Creative Writing. I always thought this story could expand into a bigger story and after talking with a good friend and writer I was convinced that this story needed to be told. Therefore, I began with a few chapters and then it expanded into a novella.
I have now sent it off to my editor and can finally share the news of bringing this story to all of my readers!
Story Summary:
Sara James was an only child who loved the world and life. Sadly, her world came to a screeching halt upon the news of her mother’s tragic death.
Devastated by the loss of his wife, Garrison neglects his daughter and turns to the bottle for solace.
Desperate to feel loved and wanted, Sara tries to pickup the pieces of what was left of her family. Sadly, no matter how hard she tried, her father continued his lust for the bottle and spiraled down a dark and abusive path.
Once removed from her home, Sara tries to pickup what was left of her life and begins to live again. She becomes a successful caterer and fights to maintain her promise to never look back.
A phone call threatens to end Sara’s promise.
Garrison is on his deathbed and he is asking for his daughter. Will Sara face her father? Will she reject his request or will she finally fight back and tell him what she really thinks of him?
Closure is a must read journey of the heart. Grab your copy in 2014!
Below is the cover created by the wonderful Natasha Brown. I love the cover, and I am excited to bring you the novella in the near future!

Thanks
Good morning everyone! I am so happy to be here. My name is Sylvia Stein and I am a published author. My Anthology entitled, Giant Tales Beyond The Mystic Doors is on Amazon. It was published on February 14, 2013. I published this book with my fabulous writer's group on Linkedin. It was all started up by the fabulous Heather Marie Schuldt. This is a collection of three minute short stories from 16 authors including myself. 4 of my stories are on this first Anthology. I am so happy to be here. I am a wife and mother of three beautiful children and I live in Fuquay Varina NC. I have always had a passion for writing since I was a kid. However, I had never found the time to work on it full time that is until 2010 when I began working on my first suspense novel and I was encouraged tremendously by Best selling author Melissa Foster. She was the first person I connected when I began on the social media and she has been so amazing and paved it forward with her numerous groups, Womens Nest, The World Literary Cafe, Melissa's Awesome Support Team, Fostering Success etc. I have met so many great people, authors and writers etc, who have helped in making my dream a reality. I am very grateful for everything and I know I am going to get better. I also want to say thanks to Tammie Clarke Gibbs- and her incredible group of #Share an Excerpt - Virtual E-book fair and all the wonderful people there. Also to Victoria Wachuk and her Exchange Fan Page. I also want to thank all those authors and wirters who have hosted me on their blog. I appreciate all you have done for me. I also want to thank Good Reads for allowing me to have an author's page here! Thanks!
