Also, Red Eye season 4 - the final season - should be releasing around October time. We are coming up to the last 'episode' on it, and to say that we are sad about it finishing would be an understatement. These characters have gone on such a journey and they have learned so much. It's going to be tough to let them go :(

Ten Seconds To Vanish

That's right guys... ODIUM IX is coming January 2024 and I am so excited!


I feel like after the ending of Odium VIII I've gone back to basics, survival, love, Nina, Mikey...oh, and some badass villains of course! I mean, it wouldn't be the end of the world without them would it ;)

I' a quarter done and the words are pouring from me. I can't tell you what an absolute relief it is after 2 years of bleeding those hard won words from my fingertips. I thought my mojo was gone for good. It turns out I just needed to take a timeout and reset. And now I feel like I've come back stronger than ever.

What else have I been working on?

Eli Constant and I are back writing Red Eye Season 4. I handed over my latest chapter to her this week, and I'm psyched to read what she does in hers.


A. Meredith Walters and I are waiting for the final edits and a cover for our upcoming book Ten Seconds to vanish (under our pseudonym Katherine Greene) This is the second book with Crooked Lane Books and we are so happy to be working with them again. They are such a great publisher and are really hands on with everything. Keep your eyes peeled for the cover reveal soon and make sure you add it to your TBR

How was everyone's Halloweens? Did you do anything exciting? We had a couple of fancy dress parties we went to which were so much fun. I was a broken raggy doll!

Well, Odium VIII has been out for less than a month and it already has over 50 reviews! I am absolutely thrilled that you're all loving the book, and the series, so much.

You'll also no doubt be happy to hear that I'm currently working on book IX! Yes, Odium 9 is already in the works and I'm nearly ready to put out the pre-order for it. You're love for this series, and these characters, gives me the biggest push to get the next book out. Make sure to add it to your Goodreads shelf and watch this space!

With that being said, you should know that Eli Constant and I are also working on season 4 of Red Eye. Season 4 will be the finale to this series, but don't worry Red Eye lovers, we have plans to collaborate on another series next year too.

ODIUM VIII The Dead Saga

Can you believe it... Odium VIII releases next week. I'm a little mind blown over that. It felt like so long ago that I was picking images for the cover and finishing off the last chapters and now it's practically here!

Funnily enough though, as I sit here contemplating the release and all the nerves and excitement that come with it, I was thinking about how this little story idea of mine was birthed.

Almost 10 years ago to the month Nina and all her quirkiness came to me. Her sass and vulnerability, her total cluelessness when it came to survival in any form. Her defence mechanisms. Her weaknesses. The sheer human nature of her that makes her so relatable to so many of you.
I had read so many zompoc books where the women were hard without being vulnerable. They were these brutal, post-apocalyptic warriors that could survive on their own, and though I loved the badassery of that, it just felt so ingenuine. I mean, I couldn't fight. I had never shot a gun. I didn't know how to forage or skin a rabbit. I was also weak with compassion...and yet, wasn't that what also made me a strong woman? That I HAD compassion. That I WAS vulnerable. And I realised that half of what makes us strong people was being able to adapt. To grow and not get stuck in our ways. To let love in but protect our hearts just as equally.
So Nina was born.
A feisty, sassy, potty mouthed, woman who made me laugh and cry as much as she made me want to throw things.

I didn't want to write JUST another romance story though. Or JUST another survival story. I wanted both. i wanted to show someone willing to change, willing to love, willing to sacrifice, willing to find humour in awful situations, willing to say what she actually thinks without the fear of being rejected.
I think I did that. I hope I did.

ODIUM VIII turns a corner on the story before it. It moves on from the horrors and shows the reader what comes next. What happens in the aftermath of such atrocities, and how it affects people. It shows how Odium is still about 'one woman's unwavering determination to live' and how that determination for survival can inspire even the most bleakest of minds to keep on going. To fight when you think it's all over.
At least I hope so.

We're less than 2 weeks from the release of ODIUM VIII & the nerves, & excitement, are starting to kick in.

I'm so excited for you to read the next instalment of my Odium saga, but as with all new releases, it's nerve-wracking. Book 8 has been a long time in the works & I've loved writing it. I truly hope you do to.
