D.K. Cherian was born in Bombay, India in 1978 and arrived in Australia in 2000 as a student. Cherian worked in the hotel industry for almost a decade working his way to the top from waiter to manager before joining the Royal Australian Navy as an officer in 2008.He is currently a Lieutenant and working as a Maritime Logistics Officer.
Cherian enjoys scuba‐diving, hiking, archery and reading in his leisure time. He currently resides in Sydney. This is his first published work.
