Jacqueline Doyle lives with her husband, the writer Steve Gutierrez, and their son Ben in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her flash chapbook The Missing Girl won the Black River Chapbook Competition at Black Lawrence Press. Her flash, creative nonfiction, and fiction have appeared in numerous anthologies, and journals such as The Gettysburg Review, Southern Humanities Review, Electric Literature, Sweet, PANK, Monkeybicycle, matchbook, and Wigleaf. Her work has earned five Pushcart nominations, four Best of the Net nominations, two Finalist listings in Best Small Fictions, and four Notable Essay citations in Best American Essays. She and Steve teach at Cal State East Bay.
