Daniel Watkins has written seven novels and is working on his latest novella, Kissimi and the Kid. His debut novel, Glengoth was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Awards (2012). His fourth novel, Where Are the Songs of Spring? is about a family's journey from the Egyptian revolution of 2011 to a dystopian future in 2020. The novel won a finalist medal in the Next Generation Indie Awards (2013) and received a Notable Book award (2013) from Shelf Unbound literary e-zine. Portrait of a Landscape, set in artists' colonies of New York and St. Ives, received a finalist medal in the Readers' Favorites Book Awards (2013).
