Wendy Isaac Bergin’s books have been featured in the International Business Times. A Louisiana native, she is a lover of language and music, and the genre that combines them both: opera. She gets to indulge her passion regularly as principal flutist of Houston’s Opera in the Heights Orchestra.

A seasoned veteran of the halls of academia—another hotbed of high drama—she has served on the music faculties of Prairie View A&M University, the University of Houston-Downtown, Blinn College, and Lee College.

Wendy has lived in Brooklyn, Stockholm and Houston. Now, she enjoys the adventures of bucolic life among bobcats and coyotes in the almost-hill-country of Texas.
