What if the stories were true?
What if, before Noah built the ark, before the floodwaters covered the earth, before civilization was erased from memory, something unimaginable happened?
For years I've been fascinated by one of the most mysterious passages in all of Scripture:
"The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful..." (Genesis 6)
It's a passage that has sparked debate, curiosity, and speculation for centuries. Ancient Jewish writings such as the Book of 1 Enoch expand on that brief account, describing the descent of heavenly beings known as the Watchers, their interaction with humanity, and the catastrophic events that followed.
My novel, Children of the Watchers: Before the Flood, explores that world.
This is not a theology textbook. It is a work of biblical fiction that imagines what life may have been like in the generations leading up to the Flood—a world still young, beautiful, and largely untouched by violence. A world where humanity gazed at the stars without knowing that heaven itself was about to intervene.
Through the eyes of Adah, a young woman who notices that something has changed in the sky, readers will journey into a civilization standing on the edge of history's greatest judgment.
