I'll be there until September and during that time my son will be leaving for Indiana to take up a university place.Lots of changes are underway and I'll be coming home to a different household. I'm doing my best to stay light on my feet, flexible, and still get my writing in.This week I have a new product for you in the shop, news of an audiobook release on Amazo...

📚 Cover Reveal 📚

Hey there, lovely reader,I've been rotating between writing and doing my jigsaw this week. Early into a new book, I take lots of breaks to allow for ideas to pop into my head. Sometimes they arrive, sometimes they don't. And maybe it's just a good excuse to take breaks.I researched drones and went to a trivia night this week. Both are up for an inclusion in my next book as is something based on a major development in my hometown. But enough of being cryptic.

📚 What am I going to write in 2025?📚

Hey there, lovely reader,I hope you had a lovely holiday season and are back in the swing of things. Thank you to everyone for your well wishes about my leg, which is now mostly mended.

I wear a brace on occasion, and take care when I'm out and about, but it's not even a mild inconvenience now, I am simply attending to matters with an abundance of caution.

I was in an Indian restaurant on Tuesday, and the song I was Bollywood dancing to when I fell, came on. It made me want to dance again.

With...

📚 Jigsaw Puzzle Joy 📚

Hello lovely people,I'm' sure you're busy setting up your holiday, so I'll be brief. I absolutely love my jigsaw advent calendar and plan on making my own next year.Sitting on my sofa with a tray and a small jigsaw puzzle to put together in the warm with something to drink and eat by my side is my idea of heaven. I hope you are having an equally lovely time and are finding little ways to find joy.

Nearly here!

📚 I broke my leg! 📚

Hello lovely people,Last week. I learned I'd fractured my leg. I'm over the pain, mastered the crutches, and roped my family into help. Never again will I not appreciate being able to carry food to the table on my own. It's not a bad break. It's stopped me from going to the gym which makes me sad, but everything else is pretty much as normal except for having to sit a lot. And not put my foot down. I mostly stay at home, although I hope to get out soon.

How did I do that, you say? I wish I coul...

📚 Do you know what I nearly called the latest Graham 📚

Hey there, lovely reader,Over the past few years, I have developed a taste for novelty advent calendars. This year, I have three running: A brain teaser a day, a tiny pot of jam a day, and a jigsaw puzzle per day.

The jigsaw puzzle comprises twenty-four thirty-six piece puzzles which will connect up to create a larger scene over the twenty-four days. It's the one I'm most excited about, although the jam advent calendar gives me ongoing pleasure throughout the year as I pull the little pots out ...

📚 What a fortnight 📚

Hey there, lovely reader,My, my, it's been an exercise in humility these past two weeks. I've had to suck it up, get outside my comfort zone, accept I don't know stuff, and prepare myself for looking like an absolute fool on numerous occasions.

A couple of weeks ago, I joined a gym.

It's a lovely gym, a huge gym on a college campus with rows and rows of machines, with lots and lots of people using them, all of whom appear to know exactly what they are doing.

The experience reminded me of when I...

📚 How do I do it? 📚

Hey there, lovely reader,I broke open the Christmas decorations this week. The trees aren't available yet, but I can put up the rest and it seemed a good way to spend my time as I adjust to returning to the US.

This week I'm answering a reader's question, announcing a new German translation, and have a new jigsaw for you!

Back now

How do you research the Diana books?  There’s so much technical information. I love how she thinks and can’t wait for her next adventure.

I research Diana in a numbe...
