The Creature is stirring
"The way the book skewers society’s obsession with celebrity culture is even more valid today than when it was written, proving that great art stands the test of time." —Reviewed today by Larry Olmsted on Forbes.com

The Return of the Creature
Delighted to have raised myself up from dead letters--along with my The Late Great Creature--to join the lively discourse about fine and entertaining books on Goodreads. I'll be eighty this November, and my CREATURE is already over forty (just a kid!), but the both of us are pretty spry. I'm looking forward to hearing everybody else's opinion that only takes the quick, wee turn of page after page. And with a Kindle, less than that.
