Time is one of those weird things people obsessed about. They worried how they would spend it, bemoaned how they had spent it, put obscene effort into measuring it, and wasted it in an attempt to save it as if it could be spent later. Even if they could save it, I couldn’t understand what they’d later do with all that saved time that they couldn’t have done at the time.
