Born and educated in Hampton, England, Paul studied Geography and English Lit at Lancaster University, barely scraping a degree in the process.
He was then part of the 'Alternative Comedy' scene in London, before realising that his 'talent' as a stand up comedian was limited and deciding that it was about time he got a proper job.
He then spent 25 years working ridiculously long hours for the government.
He took (very) early retirement and now spends his time writing fiction and designing gardens.
His first novel - Time Was - was published in March 2013 and the sequel - Blythe's Spirit - was published in July 2013.
A prequel - Bad Man Rising...Henry Blythe - the early years - was published in October 2014.

Hi Maria,
thanks for buying the book. I hope you enjoy it. One reviewer described it as 'very unique' as well as 'very funny'. Maybe because the narrative style is a bit different. Well, you'll see what I mean when you read it!
The sequel is due out at the end of next week - Blythe's Spirit - if you enjoy the novels, please leave reviews on both Goodreads and Amazon.
