The Ancient Secret of the Leprechauns

I am busy finishing up the layout of my next children's book "The Ancient Secret of the Leprechauns". The artwork looks amazing and the story in my opinion is one that I believe kids will really enjoy! I am hoping that the book will come out this Winter. I really think it is a great book filled with action, adventure, great artwork and of course lessons along the way.

Life Lessons in Blueberry Bubble Gum

Being a father of four I find that sometimes teaching children important life lessons can be made easier by reading them a story first. That is one of the reasons why I wrote Blueberry Bubble Gum. I wanted parents to have a book that they could not only enjoy reading along with their children, but also be able to use the book as a tool to teach their children important life lessons. The two major lessons in Blueberry Bubble Gum are not to lie, not even to tell small lies, and also to follow rules even when it is more tempting to break the rules than to follow them.

A funny incident that sticks out in my head that goes along with lessons in this book is when my second born child was four years old. He was told that the rule was not to eat any cookies until after dinner. When my wife and I left the kitchen he snuck into the cookies and ate more than his fair share. When my wife and I went back into the kitchen we right away knew he ate some because the evidence was all over his face (chocolate was all over his face). When we asked him “Did you follow the rules,” he said, “Yes”. We said “Did you eat some cookies?” His reply was a sweet voiced “No, I listened.” We then showed him his face in the mirror, he knew the gig was up and began to cry and apologize; all while explaining he just really wanted the cookies now and not after dinner. We then sat him down and explained that if we set rules he is to follow them and that he is not to lie to cover up his lack of listening.

Blueberry Bubble Gum reminds me of little incidents like these that happen to parents all around the world and my belief is that Blueberry Bubble Gum is a great way to open the conversation up and teach those important life lessons that all children need to learn.

About Me

Hello. My name is Mahamad Ali ElFakir, I was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1975. I have been married to my wonderful wife for thirteen years. We have four amazing young children. I am an entrepreneur that works hard for my family. Since I was young, I have always loved creating short stories that allow the reader to go on a journey with the characters. Now that I have my own children and have been writting stories for them, I became inspired to fulfill my dream of being a publisher and author of childrens books. BLUEBERRY BUBBLE GUM is my first published book of what I hope to be many more books to come.
