Jane Riddell is the author of contemporary novels: Daughters of the Lake, Chergui’s Child and Things We Choose to Hide, all stories about secrets, betrayal and family dramas. Inspired by her own editing process, she has published a short guide entitled Words’Worth: a fiction writer’s guide to serious editing.

As JR Lili, she has written two novellas about a Russian cat who comes to the UK to learn how to be a creative writer:The Bakhtin Chronicles: one cat's experience of academia, and The Bakhtin Chronicles: one cat's experience of pet sitting.. Under this name, she has also written: The Haven for Quirky Conditions.

A harrowing story. Sparingly written but was glad to know that something good for some people, came out of all the atrocities committed during the Holocaust.
