Susan, who grew up around Seattle, now calls a community north of the city home, sharing it with her two parakeets Faith and Promise and a lively flock of crows, each one affectionately named Charlie.
Outside of her writing, Susan, never at a loss for words, dedicates herself to being a bridge for other people’s stories, offering support and encouragement along the way, especially because she has walked through similar experiences herself.
Susan has never met a stranger-everyone who has crossed her path is either a friend or becomes one.
