My name is Sydney Collins and I write hotwife erotica for readers who like their stories bold, explicit, and unapologetically hot. I specialize in the complicated, charged territory where desire, trust, and marriage intersect. Stories about couples who push boundaries together and discover something new about themselves and each other in the process.

When I'm not writing, I am probably reading, drinking too much coffee, and thinking about my next book.

Launch Day!

Today is launch day! 🎉

I'm incredibly excited to share that my debut release, Seduced In Front Of My Husband: A First Time Hotwife Story, is officially out in the world.

As a first-time author, publishing this book has been equal parts exciting, terrifying, and surreal. I honestly had no idea what to expect when I woke up this morning, so seeing that some readers had already ordered the book was suc Read more of this blog post »

John hi
both your books are on the bookshelf

the 'introduction' tab on the Discussions link is a Broadcast feature
it goes to every member (very, very, UN private)

I am letting writers who are now 'waking up' after my nagging them with 'bullitans'....
They are introducing themselves and their books, and putting them on the shelf

you're are there... but you haven't introduced yourself.
I want the privilege of bragging about your butt. LOL
MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN
anything that this group can do to your advantage....
the answer is YES

tell us about yourself and the type of stories you will write about.
Put Out The WORD!

There are 75 writers in this group. Let them know you're one of them (you're a member)

John i think i know what happened
when i posted, i clicked both the GR tab and the Amazon tab
Amazon banned my reviews on their site in 2019
The didn't 'warn' they just banned me (this is for life)
They didn't like my vocabulary
They want to sell porn in a plain brown wrapper
I can't post on to Amazon.

Hi John,

First, thank you for thinking of me. I'm genuinely honored that you'd ask.

I also appreciate what you're trying to build. I agree completely that erotic fiction doesn't have to be "schlock." Some of the best stories in the genre combine compelling characters, good writing, and plenty of heat, and that's exactly the kind of community I'd enjoy being part of.

I'd be happy to join and help where I can. The only thing I should mention up front is that, between writing, work, and family, my free time is pretty limited. I probably couldn't commit to a heavily involved moderator role or anything that requires a significant time commitment.

That said, if you're looking for someone who can occasionally participate in discussions, share opinions, recommend books, and help keep the conversations thoughtful and respectful when I'm around, I'd be glad to do that.

Thank you again for the invitation. I'm looking forward to checking the group out.

John I joined a group last year, it had one mod.
He created the group and then left GR (in 2014)

It’s a topic that covers a wide range and it could be fun (with the right folks in charge) I complained to GR Admin and after three weeks of pestering,.. the great Genie granted my wish and I’m now the co-mod
Of the group Sex, BDSM, and Romance

I am 79 and I don’t want that to happen again, besides,,,,

I want opinions,... lots of opinions, and moderators. (that's where you come in)

Men and women,
because i don't want to exclude anybody who's binary.

I want people who read reviews,... write reviews,.. and don't tolerate garbage.
You write books that SHOULD appeal to both sexes...
this definition Porn / Smut is baloney.

I want to draw both.

You don’t create schlock, (there is well written porn and smut out there)
Good literature can still be sexy.
Will you help?
membership will be open for the foreseeable future

Please reply, even if you tell me to shove it. LOL

Kenny Wright is actually my favorite author in this genre, so that's incredibly high praise that makes me smile. Thank you.

For now, my plan is to release a few standalone books first. Since this is my debut, I wanted to see which stories and characters readers connect with most before deciding where to invest my time. I'm absolutely open to writing sequels if readers are asking for them, but my next release will be another standalone. If there's strong demand for a sequel to any of my books, I'd be excited to revisit those characters and continue their story.

That said, I may already have a few ideas for Anna and Chris... ;)

you're doing a second 'stand alone' story,,,,
it's NOT a sequel????

and here i thought you were a 'good girl'

the one you just released is screaming for a sequel
you left an open end on it just begging to be tagged on to it

This has the potential of being better than Kenny Wrights' trio "Never too late to play" A hotwife (stag-vixen) series about a couple in their upper forties. it's very good, he's no joke as a writer.
but yours is better (albeit, it's just a solo, so far)

kw's error???
he told most of it from the hubby's POV.
Very little from the wife's POV

I did join that group and have looked for a few other hotwife focused groups, but most seem to be invite only. I wasn't sure if posting my book was appropriate there, since the only books I'd seen posted were from the moderator. I didn't want to overstep or come across as using the group solely for promotion, so I've been playing it safe.

new writer,..

I suspect that you're like Kelly (the lady i lost in 2020)
She wrote for a living during the day. but not books.

Like her,.
your technique, sentence structure, Story structure, dialogue. etc, etc,.. are just to damned perfect. Not to mention a factor that i (personally) love..
The alternating POV's
You left Anna mute when they got to the hotel room. (I missed her thoughts)

John F Rey Noel (the moderator)
She ( think it s a she) posed a trio of books on the group i was with and included a question 'What did we think'

so,.. i did my 'edit' thing,.. and i ripped it to pieces (rightfully). The writing is/was horrendous.

my hopes of posting much on this group, with her as the mod,. aren't very high.
She created this group to boost her books, but her books suck.
so no books are posted and the bookshelf was empty.

i'm tempted to post your books (it deserves a spot) but it's YOUR book,.. Feel free.

oh, yeah, the group is 'Insatiable Wives.'

Thank you so much! I promise this really is my debut book.

I'm currently working on my second standalone story and hope to have it available in the coming weeks.

And regarding your earlier stag/vixen comment, I'm glad that dynamic resonated with you. That's generally the type of dynamic I enjoy, though there are a lot of different shades of it. Some stories may stay firmly in stag/vixen territory, while others may explore parts of the spectrum that push a little further. I think the variety keeps things interesting for both readers and me as a writer.

Thanks again for the incredibly kind words and encouragement. Comments like yours mean a lot to a new author.

Molly doesn't have an ARC reader , either.
She sends me a copy the same time she sends the final to Amazon. I read and post my review as soon as it pops up.

Peaches,... she uses Booksprout. there us usually a week to ten day lead before it's 'open'.

Molly is too fucking fast, She cranks out a book every week to ten days. AND THIS LITTLE STINKER IS TAKING A FULL LOAD AT NORTWESTERN!!!!!

I hate her,,, such an overachiever.

She has a professor as a main character in a series she's writing,... she's naming the university after ME !?!?

John This is not the writing of somebody who doesn't know how.
It's smooth, the dialogue is outstanding, not contrived. Polished.

What do you do for a living?

I hope your heat matches the finesse i'm seeing

message 21: by John (last edited Jun 18, 2026 01:53PM)

John I'm enjoying it,..
The self dialogue inside Anna, is a riot.
I love it.

(they're on their way to the bar, and i like how she lost her panties!!!)

you don't treat Chris like a cuckold.
you have read my profile on that topic.
I'm a reverse harem fan,,, not straight cuckold
Stags are a favorite but i think the humiliation factor draws writers like flies.
I don't see that here,..(thank you)

I am writing my review as i read. (how i normally do it)

now shut up and let me read 😁

Thank you! Unfortunately I don't have any ARC readers as of yet. I'm completely new to all of this and put all of my time into the book itself. I did it as a pre-order to give me a little time to try and find a few ARC readers but Goodreads makes it challenging since you can't DM anyone haha.

I would love to get you an advanced reader copy in exchange for a review if you are interested. I'm hoping to find a few people.

message 12: by John

John truly, the popularity of cuckold puzzles me

MMF, in my mind would be a lot more appealing.
She would know and trust at least one of them
The thrill of being spit-roasted,.... or DP

With cuckold,.... most writers have hubby nowhere in site.
Stranger,.. lack of security
Yes,.. the 'first time' thrill,. but at what cost?

Thank you so much for such a detailed response. I currently have an editor that I have a great relationship with but will definitely keep you in mind if that changes. John ARC reader,...
This is basically what i did for Kelly,.
she was fairly slow.
she would send me partial galleys and i would read, notate for errors, and tell her what i thought.
(She wanted a mans' opinion_

She and hubby were in the lifestyle.
He liked to watch
he did NOT approve of her writing
She was a professional writer (don't ask me what type)
but she was on her own with her porn hobby

She had lots of ideas but she got bored when she hit thirty of forty pages.

She started writing with Lineman,..
and she fell in love with the character of Daphne.
sooo
She wrote a longer prequel, telling us how Daphne became a slut,..
just for her husband to watch, you understand.
Only when he could watch,..
The prequel is Red Rocks
Her name was Kelly Lovall

Both are on Goodreads.

message 5: by John (last edited May 30, 2026 08:23AM)

John My temperment pushes me to 'edit'. I can write beautiful reviews (and i love doing it) but i won't lie.
Peaches Dean has me linked thru booksprout. She likes my reviews,..
but her early reviews I spanked her HARD.
She started taking more time and her books have improved by tons.
I can't take credit for it.

I will send you what i think is her best example of current work (and my attached Review)

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

my reviews are attached.

ps. she did tell me last week that Blue Collar is going to get a sequel. 😁

preference Stag vs Cuckold

I dislike men who cheat on their wives,..
I feel the same about women,
the current fad,...
Husband wants to watch wife get fucked by another man,.
sooooo
She goes off (by herself) and picks up a stud and screws him
then comes home and 'tells hubby all about it'
What happened to the 'WATCH' in the first sentance???
This is bullshit
MY POINT
The lady I edited for in 2019, The one who passed from covid,
She wrote STAG--VIXEN
It's my opinion, there are many, many more 'stags' out there then cuckolds.
Stags want to watch,.. spit-roast, DP their wives.
Cuckolds want to 'give her away'
The writers see all that juicy humiliation and can't resist
like flies on a turd they swarm all over cuckold

I'm old fashioned,
You are married,.. if you invite a third or more person into your bedroom, more power to you

however,.. if sex is taking place,.. both spouses need to be there.
This cell phone camera is a poor substitute.

i'm putting my soapbox away now,... LOL
