I have a sweet rom-com with magical realism elements, and I'm looking for beta readers. My manuscript - The Marriage Spell - was a semi-finalist in the PitchWars competition, and I'm looking for some high-level beta readers to give it another once-over before querying agents. So far, I've gotten 1 request that fell through, 1 really nice rejection, and a form rejection. I'm trying to find out what I'm missing, or if I'm good but haven't hit the right agent yet. Here's my pitch: Overboard meets Bewitched in this contemporary reimaging of a spellbound fake marriage. It's truly sweet. Think Hallmark's Good Witch series. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
