Anne Aspler is a Harvard-trained emergency physician and the author of Rise After Silence: An ER Doctor and the Patients Who Healed Her (riseaftersilence.com), a memoir tracing the threads between the patients she treated and the private violence she survived. She writes and speaks about women's brain health, religious deconstruction, neurodivergence, and the realities of intimate partner violence — decoding what medicine, faith, and silence cost us, and what healing actually requires.
