Die Autorin Gabriele Ketterl,
wurde in München geboren, wo sie auch heute wieder mit ihrer Familie lebt.
Sie ist u.a. Verfasserin von Kinderbüchern, Kurzgeschichten, Romantic History ...
Sie absolvierte ein Studium der Amerikanistik und Theaterwissenschaften an der Ludwig Maximilians Universität, München.
Inspiriert durch zahlreiche Auslandsaufenthalte (Los Angeles, London, Madrid ..)
Die Autorin lebte über zwei Jahre auf den Kanarischen Inseln wo erste Kurzgeschichten entstanden. Mit „Mitternachtsflut“ gelang ihr 2012 eine romantische Liebeserklärung an ihre zweite Heimat Teneriffa.
