Hi, I understand in your Book "Asylum" the house was in Meriden conn. When I was at the Meriden Histoical society they told me which house. If it is the one they told me, our family owns this estate. I am in the process of putting together the estates history and am looking for any info in reference to this estate; Pictures, history etc. If there is any info can you let me know? Thank you. I drew inspiration for the fictional Delito family's High Hill estate from several homes in Meriden, Connecticut. Interior features came from a downtown Victorian home (since converted to apartments). The exterior and its hilltop location were inspired by a west-side property I often drove past. Property descriptions in the novel are the result of compiling c.1900 period research, inspiration from life experience, and writer's imagination.
