Alexandra McDermott is a novelist & cookbook writer, originally from the United States but now residing in Buckinghamshire, England. She is a graduate of the pastry arts program at L'Academie de Cuisine in Maryland and the George Brown Chef School in Toronto. She studied journalism at the University of Massachusetts and attended the "Advanced Complete Creative Writing Course" at London's Groucho Club.
