I believe that life's most extraordinary stories often begin with ordinary people forced to make difficult choices.
Before becoming a novelist, I spent decades trying to find my footing as a researcher, professor, real estate agent, court interpreter, and even as an FBI contract linguist. Throughout my extensive career 'choices,' I listened to thousands of real-life stories, witnessing resilience, love, deception, and the remarkable ways people reinvent themselves after life takes an unexpected turn.
