Ben was born in Rexburg Idaho, but spent most of his years growing up in Cedar City, Utah and Panaca, Nevada. His writing ability stemmed from a vivid imagination in childhood, though at the time most of it consisted of his passion for food. Now he is on the road to becoming an established author having already published "Discarded Identities" in the Kolob Canyon Review, which is a literary magazine for Southern Utah University.
