I’m the author of six young adult and middle-grade novels, ranging from humorous adventures to emotionally honest contemporary fiction. My forthcoming sixth novel, “Simon’s Last Stand,” is an early-YA supernatural story about friendship, buried memories, and the secrets young people carry alone.

Born in New York, I grew up in New Hyde Park, New York, and Tarzana, California. I had the great fortune to spend those years surrounded by friends, exploring our neighborhoods and sharing adventures that remain an ongoing source of inspiration for my writing. Beyond the page, I’m a three-time Emmy Award-winning video producer with experience creating documentaries, corporate films, and personal biographies.

Simon’s Last Stand: Launch Day

It’s finally Launch Day for “Simon’s Last Stand.” Getting here has been a journey much like Simon and his friends’ hike to the factory. And like one of the story’s central themes, today is all about perspective. And just like their journey, mine isn’t so much filled with excitement as with anxiety.

This is my sixth novel. Six books with characters I enjoy, care about, and hope others will get t

Rich Samuels liked Christy's review of Getting What I Deserve: "The book wasn't really about forgiveness. It was about the character learning to assert himself when no one was listening."

Rich Samuels liked Sue's review of Rivka: A haunting exploration of friendship, betrayal, and the dark shadows of the past: "Listen, Rivka is NOT for the faint of heart. This book grabbed me by the collar, whispered unsettling truths in my ear, and refused to let go. It’s got childhood trauma, a serial killer lurking in the shadows, and the kind of psychological twists tha" Read more of this review »
