Timothy Allen is a retired educator. His first book, Mr. Teddy's Journey, is based on the students with disabilities he taught. His second book, Countenance, is a work of southern fiction and pays homage to his grandmother and the other matriarchs of the family. In his last book, Don't tell all your business!, he uses short stories to allow readers an insight into the world where he grew up, "the Bermuda Triangle of Alabama", or a swath of the rural south between Toney, Lick Skillet and Black Cat.
