J.M. Rosell is the author of the Mysteries of Crisálida Cross series, a collection of Mediterranean mysteries set in the fictional village of Demarenys, on the Catalan coast near Barcelona.

His novels combine intriguing mysteries, memorable characters, Mediterranean traditions, local festivals, gentle humour and a strong sense of place. Rather than relying on violence or graphic crime, each story invites readers to uncover secrets hidden beneath the peaceful life of a small seaside community.

At the heart of the series is Crisálida Cross, an unconventional amateur sleuth whose curiosity, intuition and determination lead her into mysteries where every neighbour has a story and every celebration may conceal a crime.
