Hunting Halos, the fourth book in the series, has been added on Goodreads. A giveaway has also been posted that will lead up to the official release date of October 14th.

Before I began writing this book, I was the more worried than any other in the series. With the central theme being redemption, I wondered if the plot would mesh well with the rest of the series. In the end, and totally in my opinion, this has turned out to be the best book yet. I was pleasantly surprised with almost all aspects of the storyline throughout.

With every book I write, I develop a detailed chapter-by-chapter summary and try to include all plot points ahead of time. Hunting Halos changed a lot during the course of the writing from what I originally had planned. Many of the changes were small, but a couple of the ideas and new characters arrived totally out of the blue. Hopefully everyone else sees book 4 the same way. We shall see! :)

Now, on to brainstorming ideas for book 5. The tentative (very) title is Wings of War. But first... I'm going to try to do quite a bit of reading. I haven't been able to read many books this year. I'd like to get 10 - 15 under my belt before 2014 comes to a close.

I just passed the 100,000 word mark on the third book in the Angels without Wings series. The rough draft should be complete in early December and looks like it will end up being around 120,000 words.

Release date for Love's Sweet Sword is March 2014.

This "prequel" is set 40 years before the first book in the series. It is not quite as much of a YA as the series. There's a little bit of romance and action spread throughout the short novel.

And just for an update... I went over the 70,000 word threshold on the third book in the series last night. The title will be Angels without Wings: Love's Sweet Sword. Watch for it in early 2014!

We're putting the finishing touches on the cover for book 2 in the Angels without Wings series. Hopefully we'll be able to post a .png to our Facebook page tomorrow afternoon. The subtitle will be The Path to Sacrifice and will follow main character, Troy Decker, on his quest to get his angel robes.

The prequel, Angels without Wings: Genesis of a Hero, will soon be available for paperback for $8. Once book 2 is released, we'll have specials for signed copies. All three books in the series will be available for $30. That will include shipping.

Book 1, Scepter of Faith, is available in paperback or eBook at most major stores and online retailers. Genesis of a Hero is available for download on Amazon for $0.99 on the Kindle.
