Born to a broken world, caught up in the arms of a loving home, I was adored when I was little. Head full of curls and laughter beyond measure were all my memories of childhood. That and a penny jar my sister and I kept, ready to take it to the store. When that didn't happen, we left it in the bushes outside the yard, knowing that we would spend the money tomorrow. Imagine the sorrow we felt when the jar was vanished and the money for bubble gum and penny candy was long gone. I started to cry. My sister told me it wasn't a bad thing, losing the money.
