In the early 1970s, inspired by Bruce Lee’s effortless mastery and calm intensity, Jeff began his martial arts training. Over the decades, he earned a black belt in Uechi-Ryū karate, competed in full-contact tournaments, and immersed himself in the internal Chinese martial arts of tai chi and bagua, as well as the Shaolin Temple practice of qi-gong. "This book was very well constructed. It gets you hooked from the very first chapter. Many people if not everyone will be able to relate to the story. Even if you didn't study martial arts or didn't have such a hard upbringing, the book still teaches core values on how to deal with difficult situations.
