I have written a flash fiction piece and I am currently looking for beta readers to give their thoughts and edits on the story. If anyone is interested or know someone who might be, please let me know. Under the Full Moon is a werewolf thriller with an old school feel as a small rural town tries to figure out who done it. Trust the stranger or the noble's son to get the mystery solved?

Long story short, I am releasing Dracula's Apprentice in hard copy on 4/6, and writing actively again. Self promotion is a tough game, but its time to give it another shot.

Another week with more drafting.  Writing has been so much fun!  I really missed this part of the process.  It has been very liberating.  My characters have some dark times on the horizon!   Also been shopping Dracula's Apprentice to a few publishers.  I am anxiously awaiting their replies and hopefully I will be sharing one of those replies with all of you! As promised, here are some more teasers from Slayers. "I grabbed my flint lock and a silver saber.  Best to be ready for anything--live or dead.  I took a deep breath before opening the door to harness my senses.  Yes; the vampire cure had saved my soul and robbed me of vampiric powers:  But with extreme focus, my hearing, sight, and smell remain slightly above human limits.  After a few moments I could tell--this man had no pulse." "What is it that you seek, vampire?""She wishes to know the location of the hammer.""A weapon?  What hammer?""The Hammer of Witches.  I do not know this item by description; only by name." 

Been hard at work with Slayers!  I welcome the challenge of managing so many characters and their personal timelines.  Also, as a treat, since this post regrettably will be so short, a taste of the rough draft for Slayers of the Devil Dragon!

“Morning breaks once more and I am restless.  No—not from the slaying.  It cannot be.  The digging, breaking in, staking, sneaking, hammering, decapitating; most of that is done during the day, while the sun is allied with me.”

“Restless nights come from restless dreams; my nightmares.  Well, nightmare.  The same one reoccurring each night.  As sure as the dark clouds will open to bring rain to the fields, so too will the darkness of night bring my torture.  “

“I feel as though every bit of moisture, of humanity, is being ripped away through my flesh.  I scream and cry out for it to stop, but in vain.  I drink her sweet warm red nectar as it flushes my tongue and pallet.  The taste is…exquisite; electrified with fear radiating from her body.”

This week has been a lot of fun. I am finding tons of interesting and historical places to send my characters to. Potential locations for Slayers includes Cluj, Cachtice Castle, and Avignon, France! Did you know the Popes called that home for a while? Also put together my first outline for the story. A lot of different personalities are coming together for this adventure. Some cannot be trusted. People we thought we knew in Dracula's Apprentice might not be exactly who we remember. Make sure you are checking in weekly to catch the updates.

I am very happy to announce that I have started to gather
new ideas for the follow up to Dracula's Apprentice, tentatively titled,
Slayers of the Devil Dragon! It is so much fun to be back in research mode
again. I love looking up new history for my characters to explore and new
locations for them to interact with. i have a feeling they will be heading to
France on this adventure, something you are not going to want to miss! Until
