Written like a survivor story but without the catharsis. No plot twists, just gratuitous torture for torture’s sake. Author set up reader for a grand reveal, and after flipping through muddle, there was none. Climax was too convenient. Skip this one.

Great writing but horrible main character. Too self absorbed with no redeeming arc. Ending felt patched together and unresolved.
