It has occured to me that the word 'balance' is one of the greatest words ever created. It evokes strength, stability and calmness. Balance is something I learned while taking martial arts and now I am attempting to apply it to my authorship role. There seems to be a fine line between getting all of the books on our wish list read, accomplishing our social media goals, marketing our work, having successful book signings and then the writing; that beautiful, undeniable love we all share. As a new author, I am cloaked in a sea of successful folks who have found this 'balance'. It is true, we all have different roads we drive everyday. I also work full time in the elementary school system, but I find the art of finding that balance is still something I admire and strive for. I know for certain that this process is individual, but if we can learn from each other's methods and listen to those who have found a nitch in the process, we'll be better for it. It's a journey and one that I am thankful to be on. Balance...I think it must be one of my all time favourite words. What's yours?

When do we write? It is something we all have a different answer for. I find when the sun goes down, my mind turns on. Early morning is also a key moment with a fresh view of the world peering over the tree tops. Researching and studying a time that involves a tale is also a joy to me. To explore is a favourite past time of mine and it comes with a zest for adventure and a need to discover. Writing is much like this. Currently, I am working on the sequel to "Of Blade and Valor", my first contribution to world of authorship, but not the only story to be written; thus this next novel lights up my thoughts and I look forward to presenting it to everyone. You are all a vessel of inspiration and I wish my fellow writers and readers the joy of words...Cheers.
