Three Delightful Things To Do During Quarantine
Are you looking for interesting things to do during quarantine? With the availability of features like FaceTime, Zoom, Houseparty, Skype (does anyone use Skype anymore?), tele-meetings are almost as easy as turning on your phone, tablet, or computer. A dear friend of mine has started Sunday Dinners. My husband and I had so much fun having a video chat with several friends as we joined them for wine and dinner this past week.
Its a great way to stay social during these times of...

Can you feel the Thunder?
It warms an author’s heart when readers are moved and involved in a story into which a writer has invested time and emotion. This opinion of Thunder Struck warmed my heart and was so gratifying to me that someone else felt the intensity of the tale. Thank you, Amazon Reviewer, for your kind words.
This is the most intensely romantic and supernatural story I have ever read. The author uses intrigue and written materials (a diary and letters from the...

MARMIE
For as long as I can remember, my girls have called me Marmie. I’m pretty sure it started with Little Women, but it’s always been a name of affection among us. My husband and family are the center of my universe. They are the impetus for most of what I do. Not only do I adore them, but I love the way they love me.
In clearing out a bookshelf recently, I came across a notebook one of my girls wrote almost twenty years ago. This was on one of the pages. I cried, o...

I want to marry your Mother
We had been neighbors and business partners for eight years. One unforgettable day a new spark ignited between us. Only problem was, my Superhero was a confirmed bachelor and wanted absolutely nothing to do with marriage. But shortly thereafter God entered his life and his outlook began t...

Do you believe in Ghosts?
I was raised in a religious family where ghosts were an illusion that could never be real. But that didn’t prevent my mother from telling about several encounters she had throughout the years.
The story I remember most was her trying to convince my father not to get mad at my sister in the middle of the night because my sister was frightened by the old man in her bedroom pushing a baby carriage. My mother tried to explain to my father that she had seen the elderly...

Best One Star Review EVER
When I published my first book, Thunder Snow, I wasn’t aware how truly cruel people could be who sat in anonymity behind the protection of a keyboard. My skin wasn’t very tough that first month or so, and I was surprised at the personal attacks people could make.
Even though this is still one of my favorite books, I’ve come a long way since then (better writer, thicker skin). But I have to admit there was an early one-star review that made me smile.
Knowing that people’s...

New Mimi Foster Book, In the Strike Zone, Coming Soon
After the success of Stealing Runner’s Heart, my writing life took a back seat to my “real world.” I am determined to finally tell the story of Jared, Runner’s best friend, and Jenna, both of whom I’ve known intimately for the past year or so.
Toward that end, I am once again back in the writing saddle and loving every page. Here is a summary of what’s to come.
IN THE STRIKE ZONEJared Hayes was the youngest pitcher in Major League Baseball to win the Cy Young A...

Excerpt from Jordan’s Gift
After writing the contemporary Thunder on the Mountain Series, I became so enamoured of the ancestors who wrote the journals found in Thunder Struck that I decided to write their stories. This is an early scene from Jordan’s Gift when Edward and Jordan had only met a few times.

The jingle of the bells had her looking...
