D.A. Buhlea is a Romanian-born author living in England, where she writes stories inspired by the folklore, old beliefs, and protective traditions of her childhood.

Her debut novel, The Witch of Willow Lane, blends Romanian and English folklore, ancestral witchcraft, mystery, and slow-burn romance. Set between the Romanian Carpathians and the Surrey Hills, it is a story about family, grief, belonging, and the inheritance we choose to carry forward.

Drawn to old places, forgotten stories, and the quiet magic of ordinary things, she writes about characters finding their way between two worlds—and discovering that home can be more than one place.

The Witch of Willow Lane is the first novel in a planned trilogy.
