Hero For Hire Update

Hi!

This is just a quick post (because I should be writing--right this minute) to let you guys know that Hero For Hire is back up on all the major buy sites. I have gotten some emails asking why Hero for Hire had been taken down, and when it will be available again, so here's the explanation.

Lyrical Press (who published Hero For Hire) merged with Kensington, and Hero for Hire was pulled to so that it could be offered under the Kensington umbrella.

All that has been done, and Hero for Hire is now back up where it belongs.

Thanks!

Meet Gwyn Snow

Today I have Gwyn Snow, from Hero For Hire on the Blog. I asked her to drop by, and tell us a little more about herself. Thanks for being here Gwyn, and take it away!

Hi, I’m Gwyn Snow. You can find my story about after the end in Hero for Hire, written by Margaret Madigan and Merissa McCain and published by Lyrical Press, release date October 1, 2013.

But, authors don’t know everything, right? Here’s the inside scoop on a few things they might not know about me.

I’m a very private person, but I’m not at all shy. I just have a hard time connecting with people sometimes. But I’m getting better at that, because Rafe and the boys are so warm, and they just suck a person in with their lack of formality. It’s a new dynamic, but I’m enjoying it.

I wish I had done more with my life before the end. I took so much pride in making breakthroughs, and in being the best scientist that I could be, that I missed out on so much. I’d have loved to go to Venice and see the sinking city. I’d have adored walking through the wisteria tunnels in Japan. And I won’t be doing either of those things now, because even if they are still there, travel is impossible. I guess what I’m saying, is I wish I’d seized life. And now I do the things I want to do before I lose the chance. Because regret is a powerfully terrible thing.

I hate dealing with people who try tell you what to do. Yes, I know I was just preaching about seizing life as it comes a moment ago. But I was saying how I felt about it. I know my philosophy wouldn’t necessarily work for everyone, and besides, the idea of trying to dictate what other people do strikes me as incredibly arrogant. So when people do it to me, I tend to do the opposite of what they want me to, just out of pure stubbornness. I’m working on not reacting instead. It’s far less destructive.

So, one of the questions I’ve been getting a lot since my story went public, is what’s next for me. The answer? I’m not terribly sure. The thing about seizing life is that it seems to get in the way of plans. I know I want to be with Rafe and the boys for as long as they want me there. I’ve been told that’ll be forever, and a girl can always hope, right? I know I want to keep working on the cure. It’s working very well on the newly infected, but it’s not quite as effective on people who have been infected for a long time. Also, we’ve got to find a way to manufacture it. Other than that? I’m finding my adventures as I go along, and I wish that for all of you too.

Introduction post

Hi Guys,

Thanks for stopping by my Goodreads blog. I have a super long introduction already posted under my author tab, so I won't go into all of it here.

Suffice it to say I love to read, I love to write, and I'm here for both those reasons.

I write some stuff alone, and some stuff with a partner. My writing partner Margaret Madigan and I have a Dystopian Romance called Hero for Hire coming out October 1, 2013.

I love the story and am proud of the way it turned out--darkly funny, a little campy, and so much fun. <3

I hope you'll check it out.

I love comments and conversations, so please reach out if you feel like doing so.
Take care, and thanks for stopping by.
