Dealing with her past and trying to just live some how some way Jonah makes his way into her heart and she is terrified she is no good for him. He opens up to her and makes her see that they can be damaged goods together.

Jonah is the total alpha male along with the sweet and caring man. All he sees is Ava and his words just had me melting.

Jonah’s hand flexed at his sides, his stance predator like as his eyes never left mine. Swaying my hips and running my hands provocatively through my hair I twirled around the pole, bending, thrusting and showcasing my body with every turn. Fingers ran down the length of my body, riding the swell of my chest and tracing the flatness of my stomach as I arched my back then crouched low while remaining locked into Jonah’s stare. He watched the fullness of my ass, the gyration of my hips as if indulging in foreplay. As the song concluded, I backed up to the pole, reaching a hand above my head. My thoughts of Barely Surviving:
I absolutely loved this book. This books was so emotional. I am kind of a mess. Ava hasn't had an easy life and then she finds out that man her that tried to kill her, her stepfather, has died and has left her everything. And in the Law Offices of Jacobson and Fitzgerald is where she meets him: Jonah.
Ava and Jonah's relationship is just hot and emotional. But of course, with such an emotional story, of course they have secrets.....

It's just WOW! A must read! 5 stars ~Anna

This book was gifted to me by the author through PR&ATR for an honest review. All I can say is OMG!!! This book is pantie wetting and scorching HOTTT!!! The story itself is about a 22 year old girl named Ava who was abused, physically and emotionally and a super hot sexy Irishman named Jonah. Four years after she escapes her abuser she is called to the lawyer only to find that the man she despised has died and left her everything he had. That is where she meets the hot lawyer Jonah and as soon as their eyes meet she’s lost. The sex is written perfectly with just the right amount of hotness. Will Ava learn to trust and love or will she be destroyed again? You have to read it to find out. I give it 5 fangs and can’t wait for book 2.
